Sahara One’s Masakkali and Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai to go off air
Sahara One might not be doing great at the ratings chart but still continues to churn out one show after another for its television lovers.
And the latest information that we have received suggests that the channel are set to launch two new shows by pulling the plug on its existing projects Masakkali and Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai.
We hear that both these Entertainment Hub properties will go off air on 29 August 2014, according to a reliable source.
The shooting of both these shows came to an end on 18 August.
When contacted Aniruddh Singh, the lead face of Aaj Phir he confirmed the development and said, “We were busy shooting unaware of this sudden decision. We were informed at the last minute so; it’s not a very happy end for any of us.”
Actor Nisha Nagpal of Masakkali said : “Yes, the show is going off air and it came as a big shock to me.”
Ankur Joshi, one of the producers at Entertainment Hub, remained unavailable for a comment till the time of filing this article.
Creatives are working on the structure of the two new shows and we will soon get more info on the same.
