SAB TV’s FIR to enter the elite “1000 episodes club”

Congratulations to team FIR (Edit II Productions) on SAB TV as they are the next to join the elite 1000 episodes club. Other renowned shows to have achieved the feat are Uttaran (Colors), Balika Vadhu (Colors), CID (Sony), Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus), Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV) and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV).

As the popular SAB TV show completes its 1000th episode on 5 September (2013), the entire unit is looking forward to the D-day.

Commenting on the occasion, Producer of the show Sanjay Kohli said, “It feels ecstatic. It’s an unbelievable phase that we are going through and we feel marvelous that a comedy show is celebrating 1000 episodes.”

So how does team FIR plan to celebrate the moment?

“We are planning a very different and exciting storyline where Chandramukhi (Kavita Kaushik) would be solving her 1000th case and it would also be the 1000th theft of the robber. So it would be a race between them as to who will find success in the chor-police game. All the characters in the show would have something different and unique to essay in their roles,” he added.
