SAB TV’s FIR completes 1200 episodes
After entering the elite 1000 crore club, SAB TV’s FIR (Edit II Productions) has now hit another achievement. Yes, the show completes successful airing of 1200 episodes tonight (10 June 2014).
We gets chatty with the cast who are in a celebratory mode today.
Said Gopi Bhalla who essays Constable Gopinath, “Today, is a very big day for us. I never thought in my life that this show would reach to a level like this and be appreciated so much by the masses. It has been eight years and there has not been a single episode where I have not been featured. My happiness cannot be expressed by words.”
Sandeep Anand aka Constable Billu added, “I started my journey with FIR in 2010 as a cameo artist and I am here today as one of the lead actors. I am extremely delighted as the show gave me an opportunity to show my diverse skills as an actor. It has been a different experience and I hope for many more to come.”
With popular names like Kamya Punjabi and Vinod Singh entering the cast of the show, one can expect it to progress to greater heights of success.
We tried contacting Producer Sanjay Kohli but he remained unavailable for comment. So did Kavita Kaushik.
When we spoke to Amit Aryan who writes the fantastic episodes which boost the entertainment and laughter quotient, he said, “When I started writing, I never thought I would be reaching a level where I would be writing 1200 episodes. I am proud today as this is a very big achievement not only for me but the entire team. Today, we celebrate 1200 episodes and also the use of more than 5000 takia kalams. I am sure there would be cake cutting and some more celebrations.”
