Kokila goes into the kitchen and brings the tea cup. Splashes cold water on to Raashi’s face. In between Raashi was all smiles, so was Urmilaa, but after the cold water effect, Raashi was downcast, tells all about the fake ruby.
Gopi finds the ruby was made in China. Jayanthilal fires a humorous salvo that these days the rubies of snake }cobra are made in China, evokes smile on the faces of the family.
Savitha comes over to invite for kitty party. Madhu wants the party at their building premises, both Kokila and Gopi are unhappy, decline the invite. They both feel Independence day and Party do not jell together.
Ahem with his family and he wants to treat Meera with ice cream, spend time with Meera. Later Gopi tries to tell Meera the importance of the day, but little Meera fails to grasp ; Radha too refuses to listen, Kokila observes all the happenings.
Later Kokila and Gopi discuss and decide to take appropriate steps to instill on others to understand the importance of Independence, sacrifices and the struggle to achieve Independence .
Urmilaa is cursing her luck and Madhu. She is cooking. On Raashi’s call, she puts more salt. And tells her plight. Urmilaa requests Raashi to come over early to help. Raashi the ever lazy person tells she will try.
Jigar days he would go with Ahem and plan something.
Kokila and Gopi get Hetal to join them. Hem informs Gopi that he would go over to the orphanage and spend time there ; later in the evening he would spend time with Gopi and Meera, Gopi is happy.
Everyone gathers at the premises of Urmilaa’s building and they start to prepare the game, arrange gifts. Urmilaa is in fear about the loss, incurred, if any.
As Kinjal is about to play, throw the dice, she sees her Mother, Aunt, and Sister in law come.
Savitha taunts Kokila that she did not want to join till yesterday ; now what made Kokila change her mind.
