Anant runs towards river to save Gehna. Gehna prays Kanhaji that she is going and he should get well her Bapuji soon. She tries to jump into river when Anant stops her and asks why was she trying to commit suicide, why didn’t she think about his parents who love her so much. Gehna says if she lives, Bapuji will die. Anant says nothing of that sort will happen. She says she cannot show her face to Baa and Bapuji and wants to die. He says his parents would be in sorrow if she dies, it was not her mistake that wedding got canceled. Gehna continues pleading to let her go. Sapan enters and informs that Bapuji is alive and well and is calling her. Anant holds her hand says let us go as dad is waiting for her and repeating her name. Gehna sits down crying. Anant reminisces Bapuji’s request to marry Gehna. At home, Baa tells worried Bapuji that Gehna will return soon. Kanak asks Gehna to get ready to mourn Gehna’s death, if not her doli/palanquin her arthi will go from this house. Tia sees Gehna coming with Anant and Sapan and informs parents. Hema yells Gehna didn’t die. Baa asks Gehna why did she think of taking such a big step without even thinking about her Baa and Bapuji. Anant says someone told Bapuji will die if she stays alive. Kanak reminisces provoking Gehna to die and acts as consoling her and saying her fate is bad, but that doesn’t mean she will die without thinking about Bapuji, she can see Bapuji alive and well. Panditji says muhurath time is passing on. Hiral asks him to take his fees and leave as there marriage is canceled. Bapuji stops him and asks him to continue wedding arrangements. Hema comments they should perform havan for Gehna’s ill fate. Kanak says nobody will marry Gehna now, not even a poor boy. Anant says Gehna’s marriage will happen today. Pankaj comments now Anant found another boy, who is he. Anant says he took a decision to marry Gehna. Everyone stand shocked hearing that. Baa slips in shock and pot falls down. Anant sees Radhika and his name drifting apart.
Radhika continues traveling in a cab with her parents and asks driver to seek someone’s help if he doesn’t know the route. Driver agrees and asks address to nearby. Back at home, Baa asks Anant what is he telling. Anant says he decided to marry Gehna and clear a black dot on her fate. Baa asks how can he take such a big decision without consulting her, she had dreamt big for him; what about Radhika who dreamt about him and came here from Singapore for him, even she accepted Radhika as her bahu as they both are compatible to each other, she had promised Radhika to make her younger bahu, what about their chandomatli ritual, w what about her parents coming here to fix alliance, she doesn’t accept his decision. Gehna thinks Baa is right that Radhika and Anant are compatible to each other, he should marry Radhika and not her. Kanak asks Anant why did he break Baa’s heart for Gehna, society will think their family’s most competent son married a maid. Anant says Baa considers Gehna as her daughter. Baa says considering and reality is different, she will never accept Gehna as her bahu. Hiral asks who gave him this right. Bapuji says he gave him this right and requested him to marry Gehna.
Radhika continuing to tavel in car thinks wedding would have completed and Anant must be calling her, but her phone is switched her. Back at home, Baa asks Bapuji why did he insist Anant to marry Gehna, he should take back his decision. Bapuji says he will not as Anant has grown up and his shoulders are so strong that he is lifting his father’s responsibility, which everyone cannot. Sapana says Bapuji is right, they should be proud of Anant who is very courageous. Baa says even she is a courageous mother and is taking a decision that Gehna will not be her house’s younger bahu. Gehna stands tensed.
