Dharam and Meera’s court hearing starts. Dharam’s lawyer starts alleging Meera that she is illegal wife of Dharam as only 1 marriage is allowed in hindu law. Meera starts crying. He tells judge that Meera married Dharam who is of her father’s age against her family’s wish and starts tarnishing her image that she is a spoilt brat who drinks and parties and trapped Dharam for his money. He continues that she had been engaged to Dharam’s son, but seeing his money married him and now Shravan is married to her younger sister. Ahem shouts to shut his mouth. Judge says Ahem he should speak when his chance comes. Next, Gopi starts and asks lawyer if he would speak same to his sister.
Lawyer continues that Meera is characterless, had eloped with her boyfriend once and demanded ransom from her family, etc. Dharam holds lawyer’s collar and shouts that his Meera is not like that and if he badmouths about his Meera, he will kill him. He then accepts that he tried to rape Meera. Gaura thinks Dharam is a fool.
Judge asks Meera if Dharam tried to rape her. She says no and runs from there. Judge pronounces Dharam innocent and dismisses case.
Meera reaches temple and reminisces Dharam protecting her and requests god to show her truth. Her mobile falls down and video clip of that incident plays where inebriated Dharam tells he used to love her troubling but now feels pain if something happens to her. She then sees lizard and shouts. He catches it and brings it near her. She shouts go away and they both fall down. She thinks Dharam is innocent and everyone is misunderstanding him.
Precap: Dharam requests Gopi to let him meet Meera. She says no. He breaks car window glass.
