Saas Bina Sasural 2nd July 2012 Written Update

The epi begins with everyone in the hall. Gyaan and Prachin have brought Bheji’s belongings together and Shobha is protesting to Chedi for throwing him out so late at night. Chedi asks what he’s doing so late at night, out and about and calls him a hooligan.

Shobha reminds him that Tej is not home either. Chedi asks if she’s trying to say that Tej is also a hooligan and she silently agrees.

Ved has a flashback of seeing Divya and Tej together. He walks off upstairs.

Malti tells Toasty that neither Chedi or Shobha are willing to stand back. Toasty tells Chedi that Shobha is right because it’s so late at night. She tells him they’ll talk about it properly in the morning.

Chedi tells her that it would only be possible if he had a place for Bheju in his heart. He doesn’t even want him to stay, Gyaan and Prachin agrees with Chedi.

Shobha suggests that they have a voting but Pashu disagrees. He tells her that voting is only for matters concerning the home and the family. Shobha tells him that this is a home matter. But he disagrees. This is between you and Bheju. And you both aren’t members of this family. Chedi stirs it and says, smiling, this is your own son in law saying this.

Toasty suggests using a coin to decide. If it is heads then he stays, tails then he leaves. Shobha and Chedi both agree. Prachin throws the coin and it lands in the middle.

Chedi says get rid of Bheju and Shobha refuses. DadaJi intervenes. He says a person from each side of the debate, for Bheju to leave and one for Bheju not to leave. DadaJi says those two people will discuss with me on the matter.

Chedi puts Toasty’s name forward and Shobha suggests herself. Chedi teases her and says you’re the only person from your side anyway.

DadaJi says the three of them will decide tomorrow.

Ved is lost in thoughts about how to talk to Tej about Divya.

He plays a scene in his mind, where he asks Tej who the girl is and what relationship he shares with her. Tej shouts back that he loves the girl. That he can give up everything for her. He can give up Ved, Toasty, and the house. He gets a call and says I’m just coming, I love you.

Ved snaps out of his thoughts and he decides he has to talk to him calmly. He thinks of a way to talk to Tej.

Just then, Tej walks in and Ved shouts asking where has he been. Tej asks what and Ved lowers his tone, sweeter. Tej replies hesitantly that he was in a meeting. Ved begins: “Miss…” then changes to Mister Patel. And Tej says yes.

Tej nervously says that he can’t take his tie off. He goes to look for his clothes in his cupboard. And he complains about Bheju and how Toasty has misplaced his clothes.

Ved feels bad for Toasty and how Tej is feeling bad about everything that Toasty does. Because he likes someone else.

The next scene is of Bheju in TejYa’s room, singing horrendously!

Prachin walks in and hands him a glass of water. Gyaan is standing by the door. Bheju thanks him and hands it back, saying he didn’t ask for it this time. Prachin gives it back, once more. Bheju tells him he is not thirsty. Prachin gives it back once more, saying his throat will get dry from singing all night.

Bheju praises him and thanks him for bringing water the other night. Prachin says he thinsk about the whole house. Bheju tells him that everyone should learn from him. Prachin urges him to drink the water. Bheju says he’ll drink when he’s thirsty. Prachin tells him to drink the waer because his throat will get dry. Bheju tells him that he’ll drink because he asked him to. Prachin tells him that he has to give water to everyone else and leaves.

Bheju overhears Gyaan asking Prachin if he put the sleeping tablets in the drink and Prachin laughs and says he has. Bheju warns that he will get revenge on them for the trick before closing the door.

Part 2 begins with Toasty and Tej talking about Divya, when Ved walks in and Tej tells Toasty that he has a meeting and he’ll be late. Ved asks where his meeting will be. Tej says he doesn’t know yet. It hasnt been decided yet. Ved asks what time the meeting will be? Tej says after the salon closes. Ved asks what time he’ll be home. Tej says that’ll depend when the meeting will end. Ved asks who is the meeting with? Tej says with office people. Ved asks why they don’t have the meeting at the office then? That way you’ll both save time. He says the salon is too busy and they need to relax and talk about expanding the business, that’s why the meeting is outside. Ved thinks to himself, is the girl’s name “Shanti”? Tej says goodbye to Toasty and Ved then leaves.

Toasty asks Ved why he was asking so many questions to Tej. Ved tells her that she is his wife and she should be asking those questions. Toasty says why does she need to ask so many questions? She knows that Tej works hard and she doesn’t need to know all the details. She just knows he’ll be home after his meeting. She smiles and walks off.

Ved says to himself, how innocent Toasty is. She knows that her husband will come home after work but she doesn’t know when he’ll come home. He will have to tell her, explain to her. In the right way.

Prachin talks to “Golu” that you should never suspect anyone. Ved thinks to himself that he has to take a day off work and spy and get evidence together. He does a karate move and Prachin looks at him confused.

Toasty walks into the hall as Ved does another move at her, before silently walking upstairs. Toasty asks Prachin what is up with Ved.
The next part begins with a Ved asking a watchman at the salon if Tej is inside. The watchman asks Tej who and Ved gives his full name, the manager. And he says he is. And Ved is about to say his brother, but he says pizza. And then he changes his mind and says he’s a credit card seller. The man lets Ved go through.

Ved hides behind a wall as he sees a car pull up and Divya gets out. Ved hides behind a newspaper and takes a picture of Divya. She waits for Tej outside her car and he gets in. Ved watches the car drive off and puts his sunglasses on.

The car pulls up outside Caf Cona and Divya walks in, arm in arm with Tej as Ved gets out of a rickshaw, hiding his face in a scarf as he tries to take pictures of the two of them together. He wonders what to do next and decides to phone Toasty.

Ved asks Toasty to come and meet him, under the pretence of getting Nitika a gift. She asks where to come and he says to come to Caf Cona, near Juhu beach.

Divya is staring and smiling at Tej as he’s drinking his milkshake. Toasty gets out of the rickshaw and gets a text from Tej, telling her that he is in Caf Cona and asks if she wants a pastry or sandwich. Toasty puts two and two together and panics if Ved sees Tej and Divya together.

Toasty tries to get Ved to leave and in turn, Ved tells Toasty that he is hungry and Toasty follows Ved in.

Tej phones Mr. Patel ans asks how long he’s going to be. Mr Patel tells Tej that he won’t be able to come and Divya smiles to herself. Ved walks in and waits for Toasty to follow him. He prays to God to let Toasty see Tej and Divya together but nothing happens. Toasty phones Tej but can’t get through because Tej is on the phone to Mr. Patel. Toasty’s panicking.

Ved walks up to a bunch of tables and plays another scene in his mind of him walking up to Tej and Divya and Toasty confronting them and Tej telling Toasty that he loves Divya and he loves her and will marry her. Toasty faints.

Ved thinks twice and changes his mind and Toasty asks why he’s sweating so much. Ved decides to leave and is about to walk off when they both see Tej.

Precap: Ved is on the phone to Divya, asking to meet her wherever she wants, alone. Prachin gets the wrong idea as he is eavesdropping and he thinks that Ved is cheating.
