Saas Bina Sasural 27th June 2012 Written Update

Epi begins with the last scene of yesterday’s epi, with Divya telling Tej about Mr. Patel’s “cancer”

Tej tells Divya that he didn’t know and apologises. But says he can’t do anything. He respects Mr. Patel but can’t lie to him. Divya asks not even for his happiness? Tej says no. Divya says sorry then walks off.

Next scene is of Toasty waiting for Tej as he arrives on his bike. Toasty says Thank God he arrived on time, otherwise they wouldn’t have time for popcorn. She’s about to walk off but turns back to him and says you were meant to come before, why are you here after me? He tells her he was stuck and that there was some urgent work. She says Thank God his urgent work wasn’t too urgent otherwise they’d miss the beginning of the film and their mood would come to “The end”.

She is about to walk off again but turns to him oncemore and tells him about their new guest arriving. Tej smiles at her as she tells her story. Then they go for their film.

Back at the house, bheju is exclaiming at Shobha to shush. He’s complaining about the ghee lessening. DadaJi tells him to lower his voice. He tells him that there’s no thief in the house.

Shobha goes on about how she used the ghee to make her and Malti some puriyan and then Gyaan comes in and says he had 5 aswell.
The bheju starts going on about how his mum told him not to trust Mumbai people. And PitaJi comes in telling him to shut up! He says if anyone has eaten even a little bi of your ghee, then cut it out of the money you’ll be giving me for rent.

bheju has a confused look on his face and turns to Shobha. PitaJi tells everyone to go to sleep and takes DadaJi into his room.

Bheju tells Shobha that he has plenty of land when Shobha tells him to shush and he sits down with his ghee bottle and says he’s not going to sleep whilst Shobha hits her head with her hands.

Next scene is of TejYa in Vedika’s room. Toasty apologises to Tej for giving their room without even asking him. He says it doesn’t matter. And anyway, since when do you feel the need to give me explanations, making her smile.

Tej is thinking to himself about what Divya told him about Mr Patel only having 4 months. Toasty calls him and asks him what’s up? He’s been lost in his own world. He didn’t even enjoy the film. She asks if everything is okay. He says everything’s okay. It’s just that Mr. Patel isn’t well. She asks what’s up.

Just as Tej is about to explain, Ved and Nitika walk in and Toasty tells them that they’ll sleep on the floor. And that sleeping on the floor has it’s own fun. And asks Tej and he agrees, half heartedly. He says he’ll see everyone after a while and walks out.

Part 2 begins with Divya with Avni in her room. Avni tells Divya to reveal the suspense and tell her what she told Tej.

On the other hand Toasty and Tej are in the kitchen and she finds out that Mr Patel has cancer. She asks him what he said.

Then it turns to Divya who says what could he say? And what matters if he says anything. Avni tells her to stop talking in riddles. Divya asks her who a good person’s biggest enemy is who? His own goodness. She says his own goodness will not let him live. He’ll feel guilty.

Tej tells her that he refused. He says that he doesn’t know if he did the right thing or wrong. Toasty says if they put themselves in Divya’s place then she’s right. She says that if she was in Divya’s place she may do the same. Tej says the question is what do they do?
Tej asks what he shall do in this situation, just as Shobha walks into the kitchen. She asks haven’t they slept yet. Toasty says they are about to and walk out. Shobha shrugs.

They walk outside and Toasty reminds him that Mr Patel was the one who helped them in their time of need. And maybe Divya asked for his help for this reason. Tej says he knows that. But you don’t know that Divya is a right drama queen. He says there’s a good chance that she’s lying. But if she’s not then…

Toasty asks him why would she lie about such a big thing? She knows that Tej is married. What would she gain? Tej asks her what should he do? Should he listen her?

They hear a loud noise (belonging to the guest) who is clearly singing loudly.

Everyone appears outside Tej and Toasty’s room. Ved and Tej are knocking on the door but he can’t hear them, he is just singing loudly. Tej says they’ll break the door down. PitaJi says no, it’s too costly and Pashu tells him they’ll bear the cost! Tej and Ved run and knock the door down.

The bheju comes out and comes out saying there’s a miracle. He starts singing loudly. PitaJi shouts at him and he asks them for forgiveness for stopping halfway. He will clear his voice and then begin again. Tej threatens him to dare not to sing again.

He starts to demonstrate his singing, when Ved, Tej AND Gyaan all rush to put their hands over his mouth. At that point Prachin has walked off somewhere.

PitaJi starts shouting at him, when Gyaan tells him that he can talk softly, since they have covered his mouth, not his ears. He tells him to practice quietly. And they let go of his mouth. He says this is the problem of the little people.
Prachin comes and gives him a drink, saying he’s been singing so much. Everyone is .
Bheju says he’ll sing for Prachin but Prachin shuts the door on him. Tej wonders what is he doing. Prachin tells everyone to go to sleep.

Everyone except DadaJi, PitaJi, Gyaan and Prachin have gone to bed. Gyaan asks Prachin how he is so sure that Bheju won’t start all over again, he tells him when he wont be awake, then how will he sing? Gyaan asks him what he means and Prachin tells him that he has put sleeping tablets in the water. PitaJi asks him couldn’t find poison for him? DadaJi says I have tablets for constipation, if that doesn’t work then I’ll give him that. PitaJi says no, he’ll start singing in the bathroom. PitaJi and DadaJi go to sleep.

The third part begins with Toasty rushing down the stairs to give Tej his helmet. He turns back and tells Toasty she didn’t tell him what he should do. She tells him if he can give happiness to a dying man then he shouldn’t stand back. Whatever his heart says, he should do. And he leaves.

Mr. Patel and Divya are in the car and he tells her that he had an important meeting but she says nothing is more important than health. She tells him that he’s been putting it off for 3 months. He tells her that he called Tej early into the office, he’ll be waiting. Divya tells him to relax, and that he should phone and tell Tej that he’ll be there soon.
Mr Patel phones Tej and tells him that he’s late because he had to go to the hospital. Tej panics and asks if he’s okay. He tells him everything is fine, he just needed to go for a regular yearly check-up. He tells him that he’ll be there in 15 minutes then ends the call.

A staff member walks in and gives Tej Mr. Patel’s medical reports, as Divya needs to give it to show someone. He says he’ll give it to Divya. He reads through the reports and sees that it says he has blood cancer. He says to himself that Divya was right.

Just then Mr Patel comes in, followed by Divya. Tej hides the reports behind him and asks him how his health is and he replies that’s he’s just fine. Tej asks about the hospital appointment and Mr Patel tells him that Divya worries too much about him. And if he doesn’t go and see the doctor, she gets restless. Mr Patel feels dizzy. Tej holds him and asks if he’s okay. He says he hasn’t had any breakfast. Divya tells her that breakfast should be in the cabin already. Mr Patel tells Tej that’s why he loves her so much, because she’s worried so much about him.

Mr Patel asks how the play was. Tej says didn’t Divya tell him. Mr Patel says he didn’t have a chance to ask. Divya takes the reports off Tej and Tej says the play was good, they really enjoyed themselves and had a good time. Mr Patel is satisfied and tells Tej to go with him so that they can do some work.

Divya thinks to herself, so that means you’ve fallen for my words. Good.

Precap: Ved is on his bike and sees Tej is on the phone. He is about to go to him so hat they can go home together, when he sees Divya hugging him. Ved is in shock.
