Saas Bina Sasural 20th June 2012 Written Update

Today’s epi began with Toasty speaking to the secretary, refusing to help her. Toasty is trying to plead with him but he won’t listen.

He tells her that Pashu is useless and tells her that a son of society member saw the whole thing and he drives off as Toasty calls him.
The next scene is Divya walking into the salon and Tej calls her ma’am but she says call her Divya because they are friends. She congratulates him for his idea. Divya notices he isn’t happy and he says he is happy. She tells him to show he’s happy.
Tej says he’s going to see his boss but she says he isn’t there and asks if it was important. She is about to call him to find out when he’s coming when a staff member that there’s no water and there’s a client that needs her hair to be washed because she is waiting.
Tej tells her to calm down and figures out an idea to get the mineral water bottle and goes to the client and Divya follows.
Tej puts an apron on and starts washing the client’s hair with the mineral water and the client is happy with the work.
Divya praises Tej and he thanks her. She notices something is up.
Toasty goes to the society member’s house and asks her to help her but she refuses because it’s a police matter. Toasty blasts her, then apologises. She asks for her help. She tells her that her son is watching and asks her what is she teaching her son? Children learn what their elders teach them

She replies that she knows what she’s teaching her son. She tells her son to go inside but he is about to protest when she says repeats herself.
Toasty says you love your son a lot and tells her that Pashu loves his child a lot even though they aren’t even born yet. She asks in the name of humanity don’t you think you should do something so that the child’s parents aren’t separated but the woman refuses and says she doesn’t need to and slams the door in Toasty’s face.

The next scene: Chedi walks into DadaJi’s room, all upset. Chedi shows DadaJi Vimla’s mangalstura and says that this is her memento and they have to mortgage it for the hospital bills.

DadaJi tells him that it’s priceless for us but it won’t get us anything. Chedi is shocked. DadaJi tells him that they can’t sell it. Chedi asks helplessly what can they do? His son is dying in hospital. Where is he meant to get 3 lakh rupees from?
DadaJi tells him to have faith in God and his sons. Tej has gone to his boss for money. Chedi says we have never begged anyone for money. DadaJi assures him that everything will be okay. Chedi gives him Vimla’s mangalsutra and hugs him as he cries.
On the other hand, Tej’s boss gives him some cheques to issue and then asks how much he needs. Tej tells him however much he can give him. His boss insists him to tell him the amount. Tej hesitantly tells him 3 lakh and his boss gives him a cheque for 3 and a half lakh. His boss tells him that there are all sorts of expenditure needed. He tells his boss that he will repay the money and thanks his boss for helping him.
Second part starts with Tej phoning Toasty and telling her the good news and asking if she spoke to the secretary but she says there’s no point. No one wants to help. The woman’s son comes downstairs and tells her that he saw what happened and shows a flashback of what happened with Pashu. He says he will help her and she thanks him.

Divya walks into the office just as Tej is leaving and says he did the right thing in helping Tej. And says that he the most amazing guy ever. And thank God he didn’t listen to her and sack Tej. But she goes on to say he is going through a big thing but he’s solving their problems. He’s good at heart. Her dad notices his daughter’s sudden interest in Tej and she goes on to say that Tej saved his life and then her life but didn’t make a big deal out of it.
Mr Patel says that she seems to like him a lot. She says how can I not?

Toasty is shown to be with that woman’s son and she asks him whether he told his mum about him going with her but he says no, if he told his mum then she wouldn’t let him go with her. She tells him that they have to talk to his mum first then they can go. At that point, the woman sees her son and tells him to go with her but he stops her and says he is going with Toasty. He begs his mother to let him go with her and says she’ll go with them. Toasty thanks her and asks for one more help. To phone Malti and find out where she is because she won’t answer their calls. The woman agrees and they all go.
Third part: Malti thanks the woman and her son for telling her everything otherwise she would always suspect her husband. The woman replies saying Pashu has done a favour on them and to thank the woman outside the room and Toasty walks in.
She goes on to say that if it wasn’t for Toasty, she wouldn’t realise that because of her, someone’s family would break and they leave.
Toasty and Malti hug. Shobha is not pleased. She tells Malti that he is in hospital and she says that she needs to go and see him. Shobha tries to stop her but Malti tells her that she trusts Toasty completely. She tells her mother that her in law’s is her home and that her husband needs her. Shobha tells her that she was just testing her and she is not so mean that she will stop Malti from seeing her husband. She says she’ll go with them and Malti walks out with Toasty while Shobha stands there, thinking to herself.
Tej is on the phone to Toasty and tells her that he’ll call her later.
Divya walks in, taking pictures of Tej, but pretending to take photos of the wall for “decorating purposes”. She asks him to check the water. She asks him what colour he thinks they should use to decorate then asks him what his favourite colour is. He tells her green and silver and she says she was thinking the same thing and praises him on his taste. He thanks her then says that the plumber will have to look at the water and then walks off as she watches him.

Precap: Divya’s friend teases her and tells her that she now believes that love is blind. Her and a middle class boy and says we have to meet him now. She says I’ll show you and walks around the corner to see Toasty feeding Tej some cake at a restaurant.
