Saas Bina Sasural 12th June 2012 Written Update

~Nitika and Toasty have another heart to heart where Niitka is frustrated with Ved’s attitude towards her and Toasty tells her the best thing to do in times of hardship is to remember the good times and to be very loving. Shobha overhears and starts her bakwaas talks.

~Pashu finishes eating with Malti standing there…TejYa bring him a hot water bottle and pain relief spray. After Malti leaves to put Pashu’s plate away, Pashu gets a call calling him in for a night shift as the normal night guard has gone on a chutti. Tej is angry and tells Pashu to leave the job and is about to tell everyone but Pashu stops him and calms him down. He asks them to think of a way to get him out of the house to get to work.

~TejYa do a natak where Toasty’s friend from London is here on conference but her dad is in the hospital and because she has work, she needs Toasty to come to the hospital to be with her dad. Tej is pretending to be against it as he can’t let her go so late at night and because she is going for a male patient, there should be a male with him. TejYa try to signal Pashu that this is their plan but Pashu doesn’t understand and agrees that Tej should go but Toasty finally gets Pashu to realize and then Pashu says he will go as he is a male. Tej offers to drop him but Shobha >.< says why should you go as he is Toasty's friend's father so what would you do sitting there with him...Toasty should go. Pitaji becomes the mediator and says that since Pashu is the eldest brother of Toasty, he should go but Toasty should also go as it is her friend's father.

~Pashu and Toasty are walking outside and Pashu complains that they had set everything and Tej would have dropped him to work and gone back home but Shobha had to open her mouth and now I can neither drop you back nor take you with me to work. Tej calls Toasty right then and asks what they are doing? Toasty says trying to think of what to do…Tej says why don’t you come to me? Toasty says how can I? Tej says fine, I’ll come to you. He drives up to them on his bike and says he snuck out of the house. Pashu says but how can you both go home…what will the family say? Tej says we’re not going home…my madam shri at one time used to love long drives…Toasty gets excited and agrees with that statment…Tej says to Pashu and now because of your job, I have the excuse to fulfill this wish of hers once again. Toasty is happy and excited and they both leave after Pashu gets his uniform out of Toasty’s bag.

~*Ahem* This is the part I skipped so I don’t know what happened…I’ll label is Shobha Bakwaas and brainwashing of Ved it looked like.

~TejYa on their midnight date Toasty tells Tej it is cold and Tej tries to get Toasty a chai but Toasty says cool weather means ice cream, don’t you remember..in college we always had ice cream together in cool weather. Tej says it was kulfi, baby, not ice cream. Tej says it is nice that we got this chance to re-live our old days…Toasty says someone once said that even after marriage, pati-patni should be like boyfriend-girlfriend…Tej agrees with her and starts romancing her and says that romance should be equal among pati-patni and shouldn’t just be husband but also wife being romantic.

~Nitika puts candles out, Vedika’s wedding pics, and she is dressed in a salwar (personally I think the salwars suit her more than her sarees though she does look nice in her sarees as well..she looked so pretty <3) She talks about one of her first meetings with him and how he had reacted back then and she tries to be loving and romantic and Ved is himself at first but then...the brainwashed idiot comes out and he tells her not to try to try to bury everything under her sweet talks and old memories. (Can't remember his exact lines and my video isn't loading )

Pre-cap: Nitika sends Ved’s food through Tej and Toasty asks her why she doesn’t take it to him. Nitika explains everything to her and Tej putting on his Toasty-inspired thinking face on while Toasty says that they both have to bring Vedika back together.
