Revealed: Mohit Raina’s first look as Chakravartin Samrat Ashoka

Colors’ historical drama Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat (Contiloe) is all set to take a leap.

Post the leap, biggies from the television industry including Mohit Raina and Saumya Seth will be joining the cast along with Ankit Arora, Kajol Srivastava and Abhiram Nain.

The news of the leap did give us a mixed feeling…

Why, you ask?

Well, while we are deeply hurt as we would dearly miss Siddharth Nigam’s power packed performance, we are jovial about the thought of Mohit Raina making a comeback on small screen with the show.

Yesterday (15 April), the channel released the first look of the series.
From the very first teaser Raina seems to be geared up to carry on with the legacy of little wonder, Siddharth Nigam, who did an excellent job in the role of warrior prince and won accolades for his performance.

The released teaser it is quite evident that the viewers can expect to witness some high octane action sequences in coming days.

After donning a mythological character, we are convinced that Mohit will do wonders in the role of Emperor Ashoka as well. Though Raina’s face has not been revealed yet, the glimpse of him in the battlefield reminded us of his Mahadev days.

Though not shown in the trailer, the possibility of Saumya Seth romancing Mohit as Kaurwaki in coming days thrill us.

We guess Mohit’s entry will be an entertaining watch for the viewers.

    I’ll stop watching this serial from the day when Sidd left. But I’m happy to see him in JDJ9 soon eagerly waiting for that. I’ll be miss u cute prince *sidd

    I really don’t know if I could like the show with out sidharh nigam a true wonder. one among the best. he really has a very bright future ahead of him. replace thhat trash susan whatever her name is. her appearance and her dialogues delivery make me sick to my stomach. please find some one else for that role and kick her ass out. I really hate that lady a piece of trash.
