Replacement continues; Deepali steps in for Tapasya in Lajwanti

Seems like the ‘to-be-introduced’ character of Nooran in Zee TV’s Lajwanti is quite jinxed!

The Trilogy Productions’ series has already seen a volley of changes with two actresses being replaced for the same role.

We were the report about Supriya Kumari signed in to play Jamaal’s (Rohit Khurana) Pakistani wife. But soon, Tapasya Nayak was roped in to replace her, post some changes made by the channel.

Now we have exclusive information that Deepali Pansare will now essay the same role after Tapasya decided to walk out.

Shared a source close to the actress, “Tapasya was not happy with the way she was treated on the sets. Feeling disappointed over the disorganised happenings, she decided to move out in just a day of shoot.”

Another source from the production house although maintained, “Tapasya was not able to memorise her lines on the first day itself, which made it really difficult for the team to shoot. Having no other options, Deepali was roped in the last moment to continue with the track flow.”

Deepali, who was last seen in Agent Raghav will now play the challenging grey shaded character. As per sources, the girl has already started shooting.

Tapasya confirmed her exit from the show citing her unhappiness over the way things were handled.

Deepali on her part added, “I am really looking forward to play this interesting character. Nooran has various shades to herself which as an actor is very exciting. Also I have never played a Muslim character, and above that a grey one. I am totally kicked about the same.”

Producer Ila Bedi also confirmed the developments.

Deepali’s entry will air from tonight.
