Reel life dream gets true in real for Anshuman ‘Dodo’ Malhotra

“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it”- rightly quoted Paulo Coelho. And this came true for the cute young boy Anshuman Malhotra but with a twist.

If you remember in an earlier interview with us, Anshuman had told us of how his character Dodo in the show Yeh Jawani Ta Ra Ri Ri (Bolt Media) only dreams about visiting Bangkok. The show on Channel V has the guy playing the youngest brother among the three and being a bold and quirky boy he wants to visit the city to get some fun.

Surprisingly not in reel but in real life, Anshuman recently got an opportunity to visit Bangkok. Talking about the co-incidence the boy quips, “I got shortlisted for an outdoor shoot of a TV commercial and what took me for surprise was the place we were to shoot. It was so strange that out of all the places in the world, I got a chance to visit the city Dodo dreams about. It was surely a happy and lucky chance for me.”

So how did he find the city, and like Dodo wishes for, did he get to enjoy some ‘fun’ on the island? “No yaar (laughs). It was a very hectic schedule but thankfully the night I reached the city, the curfew (against late night activity) was lifted and we could go around a few places. Rohan (Shah) and Aditya (Singh Rajput) were also with me and we did enjoy. Also my father was in Pattaya for some work, so he also dropped by to meet me. Overall it was an enjoyable trip.”

Anshuman further shares, “The writers and directors in my show have been continuously teasing me that now that Dodo has fulfilled his only dream, we should end the show (laughs).”

Well it’s not every day that dreams come true, so relish it young boy.
