Reasons why Warrior High on MTV is a MUST WATCH youth show
One of the most anticipated youth shows this year, Warrior High from the stables Lost Boy Productions, recently debuted on the small screen on MTV. Made on an elaborate budget with a school as the backdrop, it promises to cater to the youth of the nation with concepts and ideas that reflect our society. We give you five reasons to watch this show…take a look:
Interesting Concept:
It deals with the ups and downs of school and hostel life that’s every youngster’s favourite phase. If you’ve been a fan of Enid Blyton’s Malory Towers and St Clare’s series, you’d know what we are talking about. Hostel life is rather fun as it not only makes you independent, but also teaches you life lessons that otherwise are difficult to learn. Add to that a bit of romance, lots of masti and friendships for life, you have a killer show that school and college kids will swear by. Even if you’re long past your youth, you can always relive them by watching this show.
Opulent Set:
Did you know that the grand school-like set that you see on the show cost the makers a whopping Rs 3 crore? There’s no doubt that the small screen is getting bigger and better day by day, what with the budget for each show being as much as a Bollywood movie’s. Any show’s ability to connect with the masses lies in the physical appeal of the show. While plots, dialogues and stories are important, grand sets and exquisite lighting add a lot of zing to the show. Warrior High has already won in the looks department and we are sure it will be come out on top in the plot and narrative categories too.
Lost Boys Production’s latest offering:
The Lost Boys comes up with youth shows that have set the bar in the industry for being informative, entertaining and exciting. Headed by Vikas Gupta, Lost Boys are the guys behind Gumrah, Pyar Tune Kya Kiya, MTV Webbed and Yeh Hai Aashiqui. We are already excited at the prospect of another show from this production house because they have understood the pulse of the nation really well. Aren’t you guys as excited too?
Cast and Crew:
With Suhasini Mulay at the helm of things, it’s going to be one epic show for sure. She is known for her sweet as well strict roles on both the small and big screens. Here she is playing the role of a strict disciplinarian (read: principal) who will keep the brats of Warrior High under check. It stars Ashwini Koul and Anshuman Malhotra in the lead with Juhi Aslam, newbie Sanya Pithawala, Surinder Kaur, Divya Jagdale, Rituraj Singh, and Anupriya Kapoor in significant roles.
Let’s admit it. We all have the SOTY (Student Of The Year) hangover where we like extravagant hostel life, which is full of drama, love, hatred, revenge, selflessness and friendship. Don’t forget to tune in every Monday-Friday at 7 PM to get a dose of love, life and happiness!
