Rashmi Desai bids adieu to Uttaran!

Rashmi Desai who is seen in Uttaran is set to make an exit from the show and clarifies about being approached for the upcoming season of Colors reality show Bigg Boss 8.

Beautiful actress Rashmi Desai is all set to make an exit from the longest running show Uttaran. Few days back we reported about Gaurav Chopra who is essaying the character of Rathod has called it quits to the show Uttaran and now his on-screen wife Tapasya aka Rashmi Desai is also making an exit from the show.

We got in touch with Rashmi to take a confirmation regarding the same for which she said, “Yes the news is true but I am not quitting the show but my track is going to end. It is the longest running show and has been applauded from six years along with the show Balika Vadhu. The show might take a leap as it has to go with the flow and so my character is ending. Earlier also when the show took a leap, I was not willing to play the mother’s character as I don’t look like a mother.”

She further adds, “Later when the makers offered me to play the role of a mother again, I decided to make a come back and was very happy to make a comeback. I won’t say that I am leaving the show because you never know how they might shape my character and bring me back in the show.”

We asked the Rashmi about her future plan for which she replied, “I am looking for a script with a good subject and story. And right now I want to take a break to look after myself and spend time with my family.”

We also got to know that Rashmi Desai was approached for the upcoming season of Colors popular reality show Bigg Boss 8 the actress states, “Yes I was approached for Bigg Boss 8 but I told them that this year it is not possible as I have to attend family functions and I will be traveling also. In fact I was approached for the show in the previous seasons.”
