Ramayan 23rd September 2012 Written Update

Part 1
Episode starts with Sita and her friends seeing Ram in the garden. Ram too looks at her and both are staring at each other. In Kailash Shiv & Parvati discuss that its such a nice day today Lord Ram is completely smitted by Vedavati(Sita).

Parvati says Vedavati had done Penance to get Lord Vishnu as her husband. Flashback is shown where Vedavati is doing penance in the forest for Lord Vishnu. Just then Ravan comes near her and asks how dare you take the name of my enemy. Vedavati breaks her penance and tells that he is my Lord and how dare he intervene in her penance. Ravan says how can you do penance of my enemy in front of me when I am the mighty. Vedavati says how silly of him to compare himself to Vishnu. Ravan says he is the mighty Ravan and she should do his puja, Just then Vedavati says there is only one lord and that’s Vishnu. A furious Ravan holds her hair and pulls her when Vedavati cuts her hair & says by touching her he has made her impure and he has to pay for this & curses that in next janam she will be Bhagwan Vishnu’s wife and will be the reason for Ravan’s Mruthyu. She then burns herself. Rvan leaves while Vishnu comes to the place and tells Vedavati that her curse will not go waste and in Tretha yuga he will take birth as a human & marry her and kill Ravan.

Sita closes her eyes while Ram continues to look at her, Laxman comes and bows down to Sita and brings Ram out of his trance and asks him to return back. Ram leaves reluctantly. Sita opens her eyes and finds that Ram is nowhere while her friends come & ask what is she searching for. Sita runs back to Mandir and cries in front of the god that she doesn’t know but she is getting attracted and pulled towards Ram and what maybe her relation with him? Is he the one meant for her?

Parvati devi blesses Sita from Kailash and a flower falls into Sita’s hand and she gets the indication that Ram is the one meant for her and she thanks Devimaa.
Its night time and Ram & Sita are looking at moon from their respective rooms when Sita sees Ram in the moon and similarly Ram sees Sita in the moon. Laxman comes and finds Ram lost in thoughts and says that ever since he came from Pushpavatika he is behaving differently. Ram says wherever he looks he finds Sita there as if he knows her from many previous births but he has to stay within his limits as a Raghuvamshi and get a hold on his thoughts.

Next morning Sita Svayamvar Day and all the Rajkumars and Kings are assembled. Ram & Laxman come to meet Gurudev and Laxman says all the Rajkumars & Kings have come to participate in the swayamvar. Guruji says today will be the test for all kings to lift this Shiv Dhanush. In the sabha all the kings are discussing as to how tough its to lift the Dhanush and till date no one has been successful while many other kings are arrogant thinking they can lift this dhanush in their left hand and win Sita’s hand.

Gurudev tells that lets see who is mighty to lift the dhanush when Laxman says without guruji’s blessings nothing will be possible.

Part 2
Sita is getting dressed up for the Swayamvar while Ram is heading towards the main hall with gurudev & Laxman. Sita is completely decked up in the jewellery and her friends say that she is looking stunning and anyone who sees her will be completely smitten by her.

Ram & Laxman bow to the Shiv Dhanush while Raja Janak thanks Gurudev for coming here while Gurudev blesses him that his daughter should get the right match.
Ram & Laxman take the seats while other kings get angry that Gurudev & the 2 Rajkumars are getting special treatments from the king while others says these 2 Rajkumars are so young and fragile they can never lift the Dhanush.

Raja Janak welcomes one and all for the Swayamvar and thanks them for participating in it.The veil from Shiv Dhanush is removed and everyone looks at it. Sita is summoned to the Swayamvar. Sita’s mother blesses her that she gets the right match and she marries the person who is in her mind. Sita is worried while her mother says Gowri maa will be with her always and everything will be fine. Sita hugs her mother and cries.

Sita reaches the main hall holding the flower which devi maa had given her. All the Rajkumars are spell bound seeing her beauty. Ram too stares at her as she passes in front of him.

Part 3
Sita sits and looks around searching for Ram and is pleased to see him among the participants while Ram too is looking at her. Sita smiles seeing Ram and turns away in shyness. Raja Janak welcomes everyone and tells that whoever lifts the dhanush will marry Sita while a Raja says that he can lift the Dhanush in one hand. Janak says this is Shiv Dhanush which belongs to Kailash Nath Shiv and it was given to my ancestor Devavrat and this Dhanush cannot be easily lifed while Sita in her childhood had lifted it while playing and then only he had decided that the person who lifts this Dhanush will marry my daughter. A king says this is childishness to orgainse a swayamvar based on this dhanush because if Sita can lift this in her childhood then anyone here can lift it and the first person who participates will win Sita. Janak asks him to come ahead and lift the dhanush. Sita prays to god that whom she likes he should only lift the dhanush.
The Raja who challenged comes to lift the Dhanush in one hand with arrogancy but he is not able to then he tries to lift with both hands but the Dhanush doesn’t move an inch and he gives up and becomes a laughing stock. Another king attempts but fails. One by one all the kings try but no one is successful.

Part 4
Ravan too attempts without success and he comes back to his original Asur form shocking everyone while he leaves in humiliation. Sita’s sisters & friends are worried as to no one is able to lift the Dhanush and Janak Raj should not have kept such a difficult task for the swayamvar and when all the kings have failed how can we expect Raghuvamshi Rajkumars who are so fragile and soft to lift the dhanush while another sister tells that Ram is not coming ahead to lift the dhanush. Ram turns and looks at SIta and smiles at her and the episode ends.

Precap : Janak Raja is telling that there is no one who can lift the dhanush in this sabha. Laxman says my brother Ram is here and its unfair for Raja Janak to tell so in Ram’s presence.
