Ramayan 21st April 2013 Written Update

Vali & sugreev confront each other and start fighting while Ram aims at vali but soon it becomes difficult for him to recognise vali and he and sugreev look similar.Sugreev starts bleeding and runs away to his hideout and his men question when sugreev says Ram just stood and watched him getting beaten & calls Ram incapable of friendship.
Sugreev questions Ram as to how he stood and watched when he was getting beaten by Vali, Laxman gets angry & warns sugreev not to accuse Ram,Hanuman tries to call peace between them,Laxman says none of you told that vali & sugreev are twins and dress alike so how could Ram identify who is vali & if he had my mistake killed sugreev then our family name would have ruined that Ram killed his own friend,Laxman further says they dont need anyone’s help in finding Sita nor their friendship.

Vali’s wife is worried about his safety as Ram & Laxman are now with sugreev.vali decides to attack sugreev when his son Angad offers to finish off sugreev.

Laxman wants to leave but Ram says he cant forget the promise he made to sugreev.Laxman says he cant stand anyone accusing Ram while Ram says in friendship anger,fighting,arguements are a part of it & he could not see sugreev getting beaten by Vali but he was helpless. Sugreev hears this and falls at Ram’s feet in shame & apologises.

Sugreev decides to go to kishkindha and invite Vali for war, hanuman asks if Ram will be able to identify sugreev this time around & Ram assures him & asks Laxman to put a garland around sugreev’s neck and this will help him identify him.Sugreev comes to kishkindha and challenges Vali.They start gadhayudh while Ram aims at vali from a distance, in the fight Sugreev’s garland falls off which worries him, both brothers fighting when Laxman asks Ram to aim, Ram says he cant identify him , vali beats sugreev on his head & he falls on the ground next to the garland and wears it, Ram immediately identifies Vali and kills him. Vali’s son & wife are worried for him while a dying Vali calls Sugreev a coward,Vali seeing Ram accuses him of cowardice for attacking him from a hiding place.

Vali asks how can Ram attack him from behind as if he is a brave warrior,Ram says I had to kill you for your sins,Vali says sugreev is weak how will he help Ram in finding sita intead if Ram had asked Vali’s help he would have found her.Vali says Ram has shown cowardice and for this he will never be forgiven, Ram says a person who has never followed ethics in his life cant call others unethical.Vali says Ram had no rights to punish him,Ram says he has all the rights to kill a sinful person like him.Vali realises his mistake and asks for forgiveness,Vali falls at Ram’s feet, Ram says his sins are now erased,Ram offers to save his life but Vali says he wants to die at Ram’s hand and that is more than being in heaven.Sugreev apologises to vali and says he never wanted kishkindha or kingship. Vali’s wife & son come & cry at his condition & says she will follow him to death.Hanuman asks her to allow Vali to die in peace and Vali finally dies on Ram’s lap.

Precap : Ravan comes to know that Ram has killed Vali & very soon they will be attacking Lanka.
