Raksha Bandhan special on Neeli Chatri Waale

This festive season, get ready for a Raksha Bandhan special episode on Zee TV’s popular light-hearted show ‘Neeli Chatri Waale’ as the very talented and beautiful TV actor Prachi Thakker, who was on a break for a while, is making a comeback on television. The actress had impressed viewers with her serious roles is back with a comical role in the show as Bhagwan Das’ (Rajesh Kumar) sister Rani.

Speaking on her comeback, Prachi Thakker says, “I got married and then had a baby. It was difficult to juggle both career and motherhood so, I felt I should take it easy for some time. Since this show is produced by Ashwini Dheer, it felt like a good opportunity and I thought it would be a good comeback for me. I am playing the sister of Bhagwan Das in the show and it was a wonderful feeling to shoot with Rajesh Kumar and Disha Savla.”

In the special episode, Rani, (played by Prachi Thakker) and her husband Bhudeshwar visit Bhagwan Das for Raksha Bandhan. Everyone in the house is happy to see them as they have come after years and especially for Raksha Bhandan. Slowly, Bobby starts feeling that Rani has taken over everything and Bhagwan Das and Papaji also support Rani in everything. On the day of Raksha Bandhan, Bobby decides to leave the house and stay at her mother’s house. Sensing tension in the house, Rani says she will leave for her new house. Will Bobby return once the sister-in-law is out of the picture or will Bhagwan Das have to try hard to get her back?
