Rakesh Paul backs his brother Rajev on his pining act for Delnaaz; Rupali Ganguly calls it……….

Bigg Boss is just a few days old and it is already starting to see a spike in viewers’ interest. And what has emerged as a talking point is the sweet and sour camaraderie that is transpiring between divorced couple Rajev Paul and Delnaaz Irani.

Rajev is carrying his heart on his sleeve and wants his ex wife back. He has clearly told this to housemate Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is trying to act as match maker. But Delnaaz does not seem interested at all. And our sources have informed that in the coming episodes majority of housemates will join hands and run a campaign of sorts to get the estranged duo together.

Keeping the scenario in perspective…Rajev’s brother actor Rakesh Paul said, “Rajev never wanted this divorce in the first place. It was Delnaaz who wanted out of the 14 year marriage. I don’t want to comment on who is right and who is wrong, as that is not my place.”

When asked to explain Rajev’s constant attempts to win Delnaaz over which shows him in poor light…Rakesh averred, “You need to understand that it is not easy for him. Old unresolved (he still loves her) emotions are bound to be rekindled when you live under the same roof 24*7.”

But all said and done Rajev must have known that Delnaaz would be there in the Lonavala pad then why did he take up the show in the first place? “Yes… we had a slight inclination. But then why should Rajev be scared of her?.”

Here Rakesh added that, “In the very beginning we were a bit afraid that Colors may try to make it look ugly, but till now everything has been clean. Both Delnaaz and Rajev are mature adults and will not do anything to spoil the family spirit of the show. Having said that, what you see is only 60 minutes of their 24 hour cycle in the house and I hope things don’t go out of hand in the future as well.”

Rakesh also rubbished reports that it was Rajev’s infidelity that caused this marriage to crumple. “People can say whatever they want. But both Rajev and Delnaaz have till now maintained publicly that there was no third party involved in their break-up.”

In the same vein, Rakesh cautioned against considering hearsay, “For then you will also meet folks who will talk bad about Delnaaz as well. But I will not utter one word against her.”

In closing Rakesh said, “I hope both Rajev and Delnaaz win lots of affection inside. Me and my family would be happiest if both mutually agree to come together.”

However…not everybody is out to buy Rakesh’s line of argument. Close friend of Delnaaz, Rupali Ganguly averred, “Rajev is doing all this for publicity to win Bigg Boss. Does anybody talk to God loudly with so many cameras all around? Also Rajev needs to understand that the marriage is legally over and human relationships are not something so trifle that you switch on and off.”

Rupali further added, “We all need to see things from Delu’s (Delnaaz) perspective as well. It is very difficult to end a long marriage especially for a woman. We all close friends of her know what really went wrong between them and soon the whole country will also be aware of the same. Dellu is the sweetest person I know and I wish her all the happiness in the world with or without Rajev.”

Hmm…upcoming episodes of Bigg Boss will certainly be interesting…don’t give a miss!!!
