Padmavati’s swayamvar announcement is made. Padmavati tells her friends that she knows whom to choose during swayamvar. Friends ask if she will choose Srinivas. Padmavati says Srinivas promised to maintain her calm till her swayamvar and then express her desire during swayamvar, she is sure no prince can dance like Srinivas and then she will choose Srinivas. Vasu hears her conversation and thinks he will fail her and Srinivas’ plan. He walks to her and say she is looking very beautiful, he came to take her for swayamvar on king’s order. Padmavati picks Srinivas’ gifted lotus. Vasu says he decorated the whole palace with flowers and she is picking this lotus. She says she is not bothered about the decoration and loves this lotus.
Everyone wait for Padmavati at the swayamvar venue. Srinivas enters, and everyone looks at him. Govindraj asks him why he enters at the wrong time always as everyone were waiting for Padmavati. King asks Srinivas to come and sit near by, irking Bhrigu. Padmavati enters holding lotus. Guards shower flower petals on her. She explains that she is holding lotus as her name means lotus. King introduces her to everyone.
Vasu thinks he will trap Srinivas in his own game and says someone should judge the princes watching their dance. King says he is right. Bala says they need 2 judges to judge the completion. King says Bhrigu will be 1 judge. Padmavati gets tensed thinking what if rishi Bhrigu selects someone else than Srinivas. King asks if anyone has objection. They all say no. Vasu selects Srinivas as the second judge as he is the teacher of Padmavati. Padmavati gets tensed hearing that but then thinks she should trust Srinivas. She accepts Vasu’s suggestion. King announces Srinivas as the second judge and announces start of swayamvar.
Vasu asks Bhrigu and Srinivas to sit together. Srinivas asks Bhrigu if he has any issue. King says why would Bhrigu have any problem and asks him to sit with Bhrigu. Bhrigu thinks why Srinivas tries to compete with him always. Srinivas says they should pray Natraj before starting swayamvar. King likes his idea.
