Padamavati announces that she is ready to leave everything for her would be husband and doesn’t mind if he is a king or a common dancer like Srinivas, looking at Srinivas. Bhargavi and Srinivas stand stunned hearing her announcement. Padmavati asks Srinivsa if he got the gifts and if his wish is fulfilled now. Srinivas nods yes. Padmavati leaves. Bhargavi asks Srinivas which gifts Padmavati was talking about. He explains that he had expressed his concern in front of Govindraj about settling in life before marriage, Govindraj expressed it in front of king and sought his help, Padmavati heard their conversation and herself forcefully helped them financially. Bhargavi asks why did he withdraw his hand from her hand when Padmavati walked in. He says their love affair is a secret until he covinces her father.
Padmavati tells her friends that she is confused with Srinivas’ behavior as he is not expressing his love for her. She decides to express her love for him tonight. Srinivas realizes Padmavati growing love for him and gets concerned. Padamvati excitedly gets ready to meet Srinivas and arranges gifts for him. She orders her friends to bring Srinivas to her room once he returns. She thinks he expressed his love for her indirectly via a lotus, today she will gift him peacock feather and express her love for him.
Srinivas notices Padmavati’s friends and thinks Vasu can help him escape from them. He walks to V asu’s room. Vasu while sharpening his sword says he is surprised to see Sriinivas and points sword at him. Srinivas acts afraid and says he came to talk something important to him. He informs that the date and time Rishi Bhrigu selected for Padmavati is wrong. Vasu and Bala ask how can it be. Srinivas says Padmavati, king Akash, Venkatgiri, and more importantly Vasu will be humiliated for this mistake. Vasu asks how can he be so sure about it and says he is challenging king Bhrigu’s knowledge. Srinivas explains him. Bala suggests Vasu that they should inform about it to the king. Srinivas thinks now Padamvati will realize that he is not the match she is looking for.]
Vasu takes Srinivas to the king and tells him that Srinivas wants to tell something about Bhrigu. Srinivas says Bhrigu made a mistake of selecting a wrong time and date for Padmavati’s marriage. King is also shocked and asks how is it possible. Bhrigu in his ashram performs pooja. Bala visits him and informs that Srinivas said his selected date and time for Padmavati’s marriag is wrong, hence king called him. Bhrigu agrees to accompany him and warns Bhargavi that Srinivas should know astrology or else today would be the last day of his life.
