Srinivas takes Padmavati from the swayamwar venue after winning swayamwar to the jungle and feeds her water. He tries to explain why he brought her here. Padmavati says she doesn’t want to know how he learnt archery, but she is happy with what he did. At palace, princes humiliate king for inviting them and getting them humiliated via Srinivas and walk away. King pleads them not to go as he is humiliated instead. Vasu informs him that Srinivas left the palace on a chariot with Padmavati.

King gets angry on Bhrigu for giving him suggestion of archery competition in swayamwar and says he wrongly trusted Bhrigu. Bhrigu fears that Srinivas will take away Bhargavi now and says whatever happened he couldn’t change, but he can change whatever will happen in the future. He drags Bhargavi from there. Bhargavi says she knows Srinivas did wrong, but.. Bhrigu shouts not to take Srinivas’ name again. He takes her home and asks if she loves Srinivas. She agrees. He asks if Srinivas loves her. She nods yes.

Srinivas tells Padmavati that he cannot marry or love her. She breaks down. He says their relationship cannot go beyond a student-teacher relationship and he respects her a lot. She refuses to accept his explanation. He thinks how to explain her that he loves Sri/Bhargavi and is here for her. Bhrigu tries to manipulate Bhargavi saying Srinivas befriended her and entered their house just to get closer to royal family. Bhargavi refuses to believe him. He insists and says he will get her married to Vasu tonight.

Precap: Bhargavi thinks if Srinivas really loves her, he should reach her before the lamp blows off or else their relationship will end forever.
Padmavati sits between fire. Srinivas agrees to marry her.
