Qubool Hai 31st October 2012 Written Update

Scene1:
Location: Ayan’s residence
The girls are wondering whats happening at the hospital when two families bonded by the same father meet after 17 years.And think that dilshad has never looked back and tried to maintain contact with rashid.But is it possible that ayan and asad meet sometimes secretly despite strict restrictions from both sides.They think that they see nazma,asad’s sister but have never talked to her ever.All of them are worried.

Scene 2:
Location: At the hospital
After asad comments that his wounds dont heal so soon,rashid tries to place a comforting hand on his leg but he jerks his hand away and removes the plugs monitoring him and runs out of the hospital with his wound bleeding profusely with everybody in tow.Rashid asks him to stop but he doesnt listen,also tells him that he needs to rest due to his bleeding wound.He finally calls out to him as SON,asad stops and turns around and tells him indifferently that he’s had a misunderstanding,he lost his father 17 years back.Rashid and everybody else is shocked to hear this.Asad takes his mother’s arm and drags her away from there.Rashid sits on the stairs in despair while asad and his mother drive away with tears in their eyes each concerned for the other’s pain.Ayan returns with the medicines and finds dadi pointing out towards the exit.He runs out and finds rashis and sits beside him reassuringly.

Scene 3:
Location: Ayan’s residence
Ayan and his family return home.Outside shirin tells them to put up a smile on their face lest the prospective suitor to nikhat knows something’s wrong and cancel the proposal.But they enter to an empty house with razia,humaira’s mother sitting with a face of disgust.Shirin asks her about the groom she replies that they waited for so long and finally left.Shirin enquires if they saw nikhat.Razia tells here that she couldnt have shown the daughter in her parent’s absence.So she made up an excuse and covered for them.But then she goes on to vent out her frustration on rashid,on asking him as to what emergency was he in that he had to go to dishad and asad today of all days.Rashid hears in silence.Some wounds on asad’s body prompted him to go forgetting everythign else.She puts the girls as witness to show how much she was worried for them and waited with bated breaths.She then goes on to explain the implications of the very difficult chances of nikhat getting married and then all the more carelessness on their part.Humaira tries to stop her but she warns her otherwise.She goes on to cite an example about a girl who even after belonging to a very affluent family,doesnt get married till 31 just because she was rejected twice and word spread around that definitely the fault must be hers.She implicates that the way they are behaving about this proposal,nikhat too impends a similar future if they dont get serious.She blames rashid that its entirely his fault that once he made a choice to throw dishad and asad out from his heart then why does he still harbour their memeories.Dadi interrupts her saying that just because the moon goes further away in the sky doesnt mean it stops casting a shadow on the water talking about rashid’s attachment to his son that its obvious that he would feel his son’s pain and then goes on to taunt razia that only a mother who has a son would understand it since she doesnt have one stunning her into silence.

Scene 4:
Location: Asad’s residence
Nazma is very concerned looking at asad’s wounds and asks him how it happened.but he without replying him is about to leave when he is stopped by his mother and is pleaded that he should stop hurting himself,as he ends up hurting her.She tells him to take care of his wounda as they are still fresh,he replies that its the reason that his wounds are still fresh after 17 years.Dilshad tells her that she’s talking about today’s wounds,h tells her that he’s tlkign about the one 17 years old.She says time would heal evry wound.He replies that what if time itself becomes the wounds stunning her into silence and leaves from there.

Scene 5:
Location: Ayan’s residence
Razia is angry at the taunt but replies saying that its true she doesnt have a son but she has a child and she understands tha pain when the child suffers but says she doesnt keep it over the prestige of the family.shirirn tries to calm the situation down by askign for forgiveness and concernedly assk if they would come to see nikhat again.Despairingly she tells her that the groom has a lot of choices and is a very lucrative suitor,being an engineer at the irrigation project and owning two houses in indore but simply due to the fact that they respect her immensely,they have agreed to give them a second chance even after being insulted so deeply by the parents’ absence.Dadi comments that she’s talkign as if the proposal that she has brought is the last one for nikhat.Razia reprimands her of being oblivious to the realities when it comes to the difficullty of getting nikhat married.,and on top of that given the current circumstances.A voice cuts her saying that what happend has already happened,whats remaining is to analyse why it happned.Everybody turns around to confront humaira’s father who looks like a strict disciplinarian at the door.He comes across to the family and assk rashid about asad.On knowing that he’s fine he fires a second question as to how rashid found out about asad,then himself answers saying he found it from ayan.But then questions ayan’s knowledge and enquiringly makes an assumption that he must have been meeting his step brother secretly despite being told not to do so.He questions a nervous ayan about it.His silence makes him assume that he must hav ebeen meeting him.While rashid and everybody lower their eyes at his gaze,ayan looks at his straight in his eyes with contempt.He leaves ayan and goes on to blame and bash rashid for everything,the fact that his son doesnt have the mannerisms to lower his eyes undr the gaze of an elderly,is due to the careless useless and spoilt upbringing of rashid.Ayan clenches his fist in anger somehow controlling it.Humaira’s father goes on continuing bashing up rashid for such recklessness and not even being able to bring up a son properly.Unable to take it any longer,ayan says that he was ta the mazaar where he saw asad getting hurt and coudnt resist from reaching out to him and telling rashid about it.Humaira;s father comments rashid that whatnot he has to bear because of him.Ayan seeing this runs away with dadid behind him.

In his room.he tells dad not to lecture hima s he knows he’s right.But knowing right is not always the right way to express it.And therefore a little respect wouldnt have harmed him.But he continues his defense saying why is it expected of him only.Why cant humaira’s father behave himself too. and also he scorns at having a dad who doesnt reply back and listens to everything said to him like a coward and that he is ashamed to call him his father.Dadi slaps him for this rudeness and says that it is because of this man that he has the name of a father to write along with his own’s.

Scene 6:
Location: Zoya’s residence
Zoya arrives in a car with anwar who tries to lift up her spirits cracking jokes when she tells him the tension that she’s in due to teh fear of facing zeenat,who if given the chance wont hesitate at murdering her too after what she did to humiliate her by running from her marriage.Anwar tell her not to bother about what’s already happened.As nothing will come out of it and same for zeenat’s anger.he tells her that the solution to a problem lies in facing it not running away from it.He advises her that she’s like a mother figure to zoya and talking to her might just solve the problem.

Scene 7:
Location: Ayan’s residence
Razia talking to her husband that she should have been a little soft on ayan as over restrictions could also prove to be dangerous and he might just leave the house instaed of keeping him in discipline,which is what his authoritarian nature is supposaed to do as they are seeing a future where they can get humaira nd ayan married.She undermines his mistake to be small,but her husband tells her that small mistakes can have big implications in the future.One such mistake shirin committed when she fell in live with rashid knowing he’s married.at that time,he had given rashid the choice to live a normal life with dilshad or a life of wealth,money,fame and respect by marrying shirirn.he made his choice as the latter one.Once he married shirin he fulfilled every desire of his that he had promised,but after all these years,rashid who had promisd him that he would sever all ties and have no relations whatsoever with asad and dilshad is having difficulties fulfilling it.Razia tells him not to worry and that she would talk to shirin and him.Her husband tells her to be beware herself and others that all ties should not reconnect ever againa nd should be nipped in the bud before it destroys everybody’s settles life.The screen freezes on his face.

Precap: Dilshad tells asad that he wants her to get married.He says that he respects her view.she takes that as a yes and happily coments that he’s ready for marriage but not yet love..He says that one who has always lived in silence gets into a habit of liking solitude..
