Pankuri refuses to sign, Adi tries to convince her, says that if a situation for divorce props up, they can amicably separate, so this contract is necessary. Adi argues that this contract is necessary for a secure and better future of their relationship and if they are unsatisfied and decides to walk-out of their marriage, then this contract is very much vital. Pankuri says every marriage doesn’t lead to divorce, and cites the example of her parents who was never into any kind of weird contract before marriage. She excuses herself and says she cannot be a party to this contract. Furthermore, she said she will not be a witness and leaves in a huff.

Adi is upset, Latika consoles him saying Pankuri is still clinging on to old-fashioned ideals and beliefs

Pankuri now meets Shivam and clears all misunderstandings. She says she was of the impression that he had come here for job. It was only after talking to Neha that she got to know the real reasons of Shivam for coming to Mumbai. Shivam is hurt. Pankuri frankly says that she will not be able to marry him. Shivam gets diappointed on hearing this sad news. He is totally heart-broken and seems lost. Pankuri was going to call Neha when Shivam asks her not to call as this will lead to more misunderstandings, he says he will handle the situation. He will take care to see that no further misunderstandings are spread and issues are settled properly without hurting anyone’s feelings, specially Neha’s. Pankuri thanks him profusely and cries. Shivamasks him to stop crying and says she is not at fault, it was all due to misunderstandings and he is not blaming Pankuri in any way for the misunderstandings. Now, Shivam drops a bombshell and casually tries asking Pankuri whether there exists any relation between her and Adi. Pankuri seems uncomfortable and Shivam senses that too. He says whether she is uncomfortable, but Pankuri says it is okay and she and Adi are just friends and nothing more.

At Diwan Mansion–>
Doctor comes for routine checkup of Nana and says he is fit and fine.
Avantika is visibly happy and asks Nana to lend some help in organizing the wedding, preparing the guest list and actively participating in it. Mami is very happy too and starts various planning.

Adi comes and his mom (Avantika) asked why he went to meet lawyer early in the morning. Adi informs about the contract and Avantika is shocked. She says why Adi is thinking that his marriage will not work out when he is yet to marry. She is vehemently disproving his decision of having a contract before marriage.

Adi says it is for his better future and when time is ripe, he can amicably separate. He gives the example of Avantika and Harish who are not divorced but they are living separately. Avantika is visibly upset and hurt. Adi goes on saying that these contracts are quite common nowadays and it helps in easy separation of couples without any tiffs, fights and tensions.

Adi also notices his Mom hurt, so he says that he is just clarifying his position and he didn’t mean to hurt his Mom.

In the midst of all these, Maasi (Preity) asks Nana to invite Adi’s Dadi (Harish’s mom). Avantika is furious and says only Harish can come if he wants and she will not let anyone invite Adi’s Dadi.

Again a heated argument ensures between Maasi and Avantika. Avantika says Adi’s Dadi never visited their house all these years and so there is no need to invite her for the wedding. Maasi counters, saying it is Avantika who severed all ties and came to Diwan Mansion, so she categorically has no right to blame others but only herself.

Nana Ji comes to solve the crisis, says since Avantika gave him the responsibility of inviting guests and he still has some right to take independent decisions, he thinks it prudent to call Adi’s Dadi.

Mami is happy and thinks more drama will be happening at Adi’s wedding.
Avantika is disappointed and vents out her frustration at Pankuri who was present there. Avantika says why Pankuri is standing quietly and listening to family matters when she should quietly go upstairs. Adi comes to save Pankuri from the firing line, saying why his Mom is venting her anger on Pankuri when she is actually angry with others (Maasi).

Anuj (Mama) calls Shivam and asks him to meet at his office. He has plans to give him a job.

Avantika personally comes to Pankuri’s room and asks her to do a favor for her. Pankuri is all eager to do, and Avantika asks her to leave the diwan mansion by tomorrow. Pankuri is shocked and is silent. Avantika says she is considering her silence as yes and departs. Mami is silently listening all these from outside the door and departs just when she senses Avantika is near the door.

Precap : Pankuri meets Avantika outside and says shewill leave the house (Diwan Mansion) tomorrow. Adi listens that and is shocked. Adi clearly tells his Mom (Avantika) that Pankuri is not going anywhere. She will stay here till the wedding is over and help him with the arrangements and all. Avantika starts to get annoyed now.
