Pyaar Ka Dard Hai 16th October 2012 Written Update

Avantika is very much upset and worried with the disappearance of Adi. She is consulting her Dad (Nana) and he advices her to call Harish. Nana further says that Adi may have been there. Avantika refuses to call Harish and further says she doesn’t think that Adi will go there, specially after what had happened and Adi is upset about listening to Harish’s affair. Nana asks Avantika that how can she be so sure of what Adi thinks, and finally after much convincing, Avantika agrees and calls Harish.

Harish is getting ready to go for shooting, says to his Mom (Dadi) that he has an important episode to shoot today. Suddenly he gets Avantika’s call, and is surprised, thinks that she will hurl some abuses and picks it up. Avantika straightaway asks if Adi is there at his house or not. Harish says how come Adi will be here, specially after she made such a nice effort and some baseless allegation to completely separate out Adi from his life. Avantika shouts at him to stop joking and be serious sometimes. She says that Adi is missing since morning and he is now where to be found. Moreover, he has left his wallet and mobile, so she is very much worried as well. Harish is now tensed and worried and informs Mom (Dadi) that Adi is missing, he will go to Diwan Mansion now and cancels the shoot. Dadi is worried as well.

At Diwan Mansion, Avantika calls Anuj hoarsely and says about the disappearance of Adi. Maasi (Preety) too comes down and is very much disturbed on hearing about Adi’s disappearance, suggests Avantika to inform police about the matter. Mami(Sheila) too is at the spot now and asks Avantika not to call police as the family feud will come out in the open. She says there is absolutely no need to call police so soon and wait for Adi.

Harish, by now, has appeared at Diwan Mansion and asks Avantika whether she called Adi’s friends and enquired about his whereabouts or not. Avantika says at least this much sense she has and those things she already did long ago.

Nana now laments that because of Harish-Avantika’s spat and their egoism, Adi left the house. He makes them responsible for Adi’s sudden disappearance and says the final nail in the coffin was the impending divorce between Harish & Avantika.

A police checking is going on, and a red Qualis car suddenly turns back and moves in opposite direction to avoid police checks, stops at some place and front door opens.

At Diwan Mansion, everyone is upset and discusses as to where Adi can be found out.
Pankuri suggests to check hospital and Avantika is furious, says her son hasn’t come to any harm and how dare she tell those things. Maasi (Preety) says it is not the time to get angry and they have to check everywhere, even in hospital also and pray to God that Adi is safe & sound.

Mami gets a call, everyone is watching her with baited breaths, but she cuts the call and says Sorry.
Harish & Avantika decides to go to police station together and file a missing complaint. Anuj tries to stop them again, saying that police will only act on the missing complaint after 24 hours and start searching, so what’s the use of going so early.

Avantika says she can’t wait that long for her son and goes with Harish to police station. They are in car together.

Mami makes some excuses and goes out too. She is in a cab and speaks on phone now, says she will pay all the money to the Jeweller and tells him not to worry at all. She says she has done a grave mistake by changing her old jeweller and opting for this new store and that too bought a jewellery in installments, says she will pay him and also pleads the jeweller not to involve police in this matter.

At the police station, Avantika sees Harish shaking his leg vigorously while sitting (due to tension) and says him to stop it. Harish stops it. Avantika says this habit has stayed on with him from his college days and she failed to eradicate it.

At Diwan Mansion, Pankuri is getting worried and says it is almost evening, but Adi hasn’t returned. Latika and her Mom came to console Nana, and share doubts. Shanky looks at them with suspicion and when they are away, shares his suspicion with Nana and Pankuri.

Latika’s Mom on phone says she will pay the debts and asks the person to wait till Latika again traps Adi in her love and Adi catches the bait.

Nana is alone with Pankuri and now smiles and tells her about yesterday’s incident. Flashback of yesterday’s incident are shown. Adi first informed Nana that he went to Kullu to beg for forgiveness from Pankuri and her family. Nana is happy and gives him a pat on the back. Pankuri was listening that conversation and comes to the forefront now. Adi, on seeing Pankuri, smiles and tells the good news of Pankuri-Shivam’s impending wedding to Nana.

Adi was leaving now as he wanted badly to avoid talks related to divorce, his Dad and his affair, Nana asks him to stay on and says avoiding is not the best solution. Pankuri gives Adi a piece of her mind, says he doesn’t realize the repercussions of divorce and further says he is not at all affected with the divorce, how come he is not believing his Dad but he is ready to believe Pankuri who has become his friend recently. Adi is amazed and says so Pankuri too can rant. Pankuri says him to think about the matter, not take everything so lightly and leaves. Adi goes to washroom and sprinkles water on his face.
