The Episode starts with Khanderao and Ahilya smiling seeing the couples marrying. The var Dakshina ritual ends. Back in the palace, Khanderao comes to Ahilya and says you are getting shy as if I m seeing you for the first time. She says no, I got ready in haste, am I looking good. He asks her to come. He says you think of the Rajya and people, its good, but its not good to forget yourself, you forgot you are a woman too, a beautiful woman, you look beautiful, close your eyes. She closes her eyes. He gifts her a necklace. She smiles seeing it in the mirror. They wish each other happy Diwali. She says but this gift suddenly. He says I asked the jeweller to make a diamond necklace for you. She asks is this a gift or… He says you deserve this for your victory, you got Malwa’s every daughter and father win, and everyone who weren’t able to give the Var dakshina.

They hear the people chanting their names. She says you also deserve the praise, this would have not been possible without you, I will get the kids. He goes. Dwarka, Rakma and Gunu ji hear the men praising Khanderao and Ahilya’s new rules. Gautama, Harku and Tukoji smile. Ahilya gets the kids. Gunu ji says I had planted the poison, still they are happy, no, very soon, I will blow off the diyas of Malwa, then I will celebrate Diwali. Gautama says we should start the puja. Khanderao asks where is dad. Gautama says he got an invite from a temple, he went there, he is much happy with both of you, come. They perform the aarti and pray. Gunu ji gets drunk. He is frustrated. Dhana ji comes and handles him. He asks him not to put off the diyas, it’s a bad omen. Dhana ji asks him not to drink now. Gunu ji says the people have praised Ahilya and Khanderao, they are now worshipping them with devotion, nothing can happen now, I have lost. Dhana ji says no, Khanderao will die before the Diwali ends, just wait and watch. Ramjani comes to ask for sweets. Malerao asks who is she. Rakma says I told you about her, she is Ramjani.
