The Episode starts with Gautama and Dwarka having a funny argument. They laugh. Gautama asks Rakma to call Ahilya. Rakma says Ahilya won’t come, she is running a darbar in her room since morning. Ahilya keeps a proposal to get laws against domestic violence. She says many women domestic violence, violence is a punishable offence, I want your consent to instate this law, this will give justice to the women. Gunu ji says we should not interfere in the Praja’s personal matters, how can we explain a husband how to behave with his wife. She says yes, but we can explain the people. Gangoba says law can’t be made, we can help them if any complain comes, a king shouldn’t interfere in the family matters. She asks if the house isn’t safe, then how will we get the complains, the women can’t say anything because they get chained by the relations, like Krishna. Gunu ji says Krishna got a chance but didn’t say anything. Khanderao says someone can misuse this law by lying also. Ahilya says even a wife can lie by fear. He says how can you decide who is lying, how can you be so sure, I understand your intentions, this law can create more problems, its not right to instate the law for Krishna, we have no proof against Shantaram. She asks them to trust her. She says I m sure, Shantaram will be the first culprit that gets caught by this law. Gomti asks Krishna is she is feeling weak. Krishna says I have to keep this fast. Gomti asks her why are you keeping this fast. Ahilya and the queens are also there for the puja.

Ahilya says its Parvati’s first fast, she should have the right of the first puja. She asks Parvati to come and do the puja first. Parvati smiles and does the puja, followed by Ahilya and others. Ahilya meets the village women. Krishna feels weak and faints down. Gomti shouts. Ahilya turns and sees Krishna. Ahilya goes to help. She sprinkles water. Krishna gets up. She says I can’t drink water, I have a fast. Ahilya says your health is imp. Gomti says she didn’t eat anything since night. Lady says it’s a wife’s duty to fast for her husband. Ahilya says her husband isn’t taking care of her. Gunu ji says this rule will bring chaos in the society. Ahilya talks to the ladies. She says fasting isn’t necessary if your health doesn’t support, I m pregnant, so I didn’t keep the fast, Krishna is ill. She asks Krishna not to fall weak, keep herself alive for the sake of her daughter. She asks her to have water.

Gomti asks Krishna to drink. Krishna drinks the water. The lady says if her husband knows this, then don’t know what will happen. Tukoji says I suggest we should take opinion of others. Gunu ji says its better you stay quiet in this matter, Khanderao and I will discuss and decide. Khanderao asks why are you talking to Tukoji like this. Tukoji says I don’t have the right to decide, but I have a right to give opinion, I worry for Khanderao. He leaves. Krishna comes back home. Shantaram is drinking with his friends. He sends his friends away. He hurts Krishna. He scolds her for breaking the fast. Gomti says don’t beat mum, she is ill. He pushes her down. Krishna recalls Ahilya’s words. Shantaram says nothing happened to her, see what I do now. Ahilya comes and asks him to stop right there. He worries seeing her. Gomti hugs Ahilya. Ahilya gets angry. Krishna says you were right, this man is a devil, save us from him.
