The Episode starts with Malerao laughing. He asks what happened, you felt I m going to shoot Ahilya. Ahilya says I didn’t get scared, because I m not afraid of death, you are very precious to me. He says I know, I was just joking, forgive me, look at this gun, its good, right. He asks them to see the gifts. He wears the hat and poses with the gun. Ahilya looks at him. Malerao says Hughes is a lovely person, he wants Malwa to progress with technology, he has many such machines, he wants to become our friend. Hughes gets to see the vendors and their products. The man asks how will they help us. Hughes says they will do the work which no one can do, shoe isn’t just to wear but to stamp also, these people will come under our shoes, I will stamp them eventually.

Malerao asks what happened, didn’t you like it, how do I look, tell me, when the enemy sees this weapon, then he will get scared, am I saying right. Ahilya throws the gun and hat. She says you have befriended a britisher, you think it’s a joke. She asks him to wear his pagdi back. He says its just a joke, why are you serious, this hat is so light in weight. She says he won’t let you stay like you but like him.

Hughes separates the fresh fruits and rotten fruits. He says we have to separate the people, between poor and rich like these fruits. Ahilya asks Malerao to understand, britishers can’t be trusted. Malerao says yes, you are right, did you talk to any britisher till now. She says I have heard about them. He asks her not to believe anything she heard. He says you should meet them and then make an opinion. She says I told you, you should believe your parents. He says okay, why did you get angry when I used to believe dad. She says you had a misunderstanding. He says you should meet Hughes, I have seen his devotion towards the society, he has proposed friendship, he left the decision to me. She says I would have been happy if your happiness was forever. She explains him. He says you are taking the matter in a wrong direction. She says I will always be your well wisher. He says they can help us in progress, meet him once for our sake. She refuses. He insists her. The man says Hughes have bought all the fruits, now you can take these. He gives the rotten fruits to them. The men fight to get the fruits. Hughes says we will snatch their homes and business, they won’t know that we are offering their own products to them. Tukoji asks Malerao to understand. Malerao argues with him. He says no one believes me, no one is ready to give a chance to my decision, I m a namesake prince. He leaves. Ahilya stops him. She says call him to the darbar, I will meet him and see what unique thing he has that will be good for Malwa. Malerao smiles.
