The Episode starts with Ahilya coming to the darbar. She says I want everyone to observe silence for some time to mourn for Kesar’s suicide. The minister argues and asks will it be right to mourn for a dancer’s daughter’s death. She says we don’t need to see if the person should belong to a darbar or royal family. Gangoba says sorry, I don’t think its necessary. She says you are also saying this. He asks how long will we mourn for that girl, we have darbari and farmers here, we have to solve their problems. Malhar says Gangoba, I understand what you mean to say, I don’t want to tangle the Darbar in the family matters, I feel I should spend time with Gautama until she recovers. Malerao goes to meet Gautama. Maina hugs Mukta. Gautama breathes her last. Everyone is shocked. They cry. Ahilya hugs Gautama.

Malerao comes and is shocked to see Gautama dead. Maina and Mukta come, and cry. Malerao cries. Its morning, everyone recalls their moments with Gautama. Gautama is taken for her final rites. Ahilya asks Malhar to calm down. Malerao says I m sorry, take me along, I didn’t come to meet you when you called me. Tukoji stops Malerao. He hugs Malerao and calms him down. Malhar lights the pyre. Everyone cries.
