Punar Vivah 24th May 2013 Written Episode
Scene 1:
Location: Jagotia’s mansion
Divya is stunned to silence, hearing about the wife of her first love. She clenches her fist in hurt. Sohan’s wife goes on to taunt sarita in front of her too. As she takes the tea from Sarita, divya faces raj’s wife for the first time. She folds her hands and greets her, and sarita silently nods. She leaves from there. Sohan’s wife goes behind her, to taunnt her and reprimand her.
Sarita loses her temper, and goes on to say nasty words herself to her mother in law, who instantly starts comparing her to Divya’s character in choti Bahu. Divya is a silent spectator to all of this. Sarita goes on to say that even choti bahu is equally worse in real life, and that reel life isnt to be believed.
As she goes inside after a huge verbal scuffle, with her mother in law, Sohan’s wife goes on to tell divya, about the girl who raj loves, and who left him, because of which they had to get him married to someone else, and if she could find that girl again, she would readily get raj married to his love. Sohan’s wife, hearing a thud on the floor, coming from the kitchen, asks divya to wait while she goes inside. Divya is too shocked at the latest turn of events to be able to react. As sohan’s wife goes inside to teach sarita a lesson, divya remembers what sohan’s wife just told about raj’s scorned lover. she is in tears, and goes off from there.
Later, Sarita is again reprimanded by everyone in the house, for the same that had happened earlier in the morning. The two useless sisters of Raj, continue to taunt and tease sarita and make her intentionally work extra, by spilling crap on the floor, after she dusted it once. The girls and everyone go on to reprimand sarita, as to how she isnt like Choti bahu, who is so well mannered, unable to bear which, she goes and holds the youngest girl’s hand, and asks her to clean it now. However sohan’s wife stops her. seeing the commotion again, raj’s granny steps in and asks them to stop fighting. As they continuously keep taunting her in the name of Choti Bahu, Sarita says that they should have stopped her and send a marriage proposal and made her the daughter in law of this house, and get raj remrried to her, which is so common these days, and that would give her a way to be rid of this family too, onec and for all. The eldest one comes and hearing this, says that noone would mention Divya to raj. She reminds them what had happened last time divya was mentioned. Their mother instructs them not to ever mention divya’s name to raj.
Scene 2:
Location: Divya’s residence
All are upset to find Divya in anger. They continuously ask him what happened, as she had gone to meet raj, and ask if he got angry seeing her. Divya says that she didnt meet him, and after what she saw today, she wont ever step foot in that house again. She says that its not his fault, as he wont be able to see the pain he is in right now. She is very upset at the way sarita was behaving with the mother in law. She says that he could never bear carelessness, and that he always told her how to dress up, and is responsible for the entire change of wardrobe. And that his own wife dresses shabbily. She says that she’s sure that raj isnt happy. Divya is very upset. Her brother asks her what is she angry about, that he married a girl like sarita, or that he married at all. His wife asks him not to talk like that to divya, as she already is upset. But Divya says that he is right, and that she’s indeed angry that he married without waiting for her, hsi true love, when they have been always told, that when nothing else waits, true love always does. She says that she’s waited for him for the past 10 years, and yet he couldnt understand her helplessness.
Divya is out on the balcony, crying at the latest turn her life has taken. Seeing a couple helping each other, Divya is reminded how she used to get jealous when raj ever talked with any other girl, and Raj teasing her about the same. He promises that he would always be hers, in this and the next many births to come. She cries thinking about that memory. She runs out of the house, in the rain, starts the scooty, and drives off, while her bhabhi wonders where is she going in this rain and that if anyone saw her like this, they would recognise her as the tv star, and she could be in trouble.
Scene 3:
Location: Raj’s shop
Raj is shown to be working in the Raddi shop, nonchalantly, romantically disengaged, throwing off all romantic poetry, in the garbage.
Scene 4:
Location: Jagotia’s mansion
Taking clothes off the roof, in the rain, sarita sees raj, coming in the bedroom, and is romantically kindled. She comes inside shyly, and raj casts a glance at her, and then goes back to his work. she is feeling cold, under the fan, but raj doesnt seem to notice it, immersed in his work. sarita closes off the door, and goes on to blow dry her hair, and water droplets sprinkle on raj, which unnerves him. But seeing that it didnt have the desired effect, Sarita takes off the saree, to seduce him, he looks startled and then gets back to his work. She goes on to undress herself, in the wardrobe area, and tries to distract Raj, who’s busy working, but does know, when her clothes land on his feet. She leaves.
As sarita comes out with a change of saree, she finds raj talking to someone on the phone, regarding a delivery, and walking out of the room, while she runs desperately. after he’s gone, she looks at herself in the mirror, teary eyed. The screen freezes on her face.
Precap: Sarita tells granny, that the irony of her life is that, banging her head against the wall, would result in giving pain to her only. Granny curses the girl, who destroyed raj so much so, after leaving him, that left him emotionally incapable to attach himself to someone else. Sarita says that once she finds that girl, she would definitely have her way with that girl.

Yash and Aarti are on a swing in the backyard of their mansion in Mumbai and they are hugging closely…then a guy in a black suit comes into view in front of Yash and Aarti and is holding Aarti photo and he is staring at it the over voice says,” Yash and Aarti’s marriage has been trough may test, but can it stand this one or will this be the end of their Punar VIvah?”

My first impression wasn’t a good one , but now I am trying to watch with unbiased eyes . I have calmed down enough to understand that PV1 will not be returning , so why should I continue sulking .

So let me take you back to May 21st 2013 Punar Vivah didn’t end but after the hug this followed;
Location: Mumbai Mansion
It’s night and Yash is stiing on the sofa watching Vivah with in her cute pink night sari sitting next to him with her head on his shoulder.
“Wow!” exclaimed Yash causing Aarti to give him a weird look, “What is it, Yash ji?” asked Aarti concerned for her husband.
“She is so hot!” Yash says drooling at Poonam, Aarti look at him clearing angry…Yash looked at her and realized what he said.
“I won’t spare you Yashji!” Aarti said as she Yash tried to escape she ran after him.
They on to the terrace where it was raining and had they own cute water fight.
Song:Suraj Hua Madham
Yash and Aarti begin to dance as Yash turls her about in the rain and then picks her up and spins her around, she lies on the ground and he lies next to her drooling over her beauty. She then goes to sit on the swing as he lovingly pushes her and he sits next to her and leans closer holding her hand against his wet built chest he leans in and he slowly brushes the hair out of her face and there lips are just mirco millimeters away
PRECAP:RADHA GIVES A TRAY TO AARTI AND TELLS HER TO TAKE IT FOR HIM.
The Next Morning:
All are at the dinner table except Yash, “Oh Aarti bahu where is Yash?” asks Suraj Pratap. “Oh Papa, I left him to sleep, he was tried since last day’s wedding.” Aarti respond
Moments later Yash is walking down the stairs sneezing constantly and in between sneezes he managed to get the words,”Aarti ji”
Radha get up and goes over to a sneezing Yash who is near the sofa and feels his head, “OMG Yash, dear, you have a high fever you must rest,” she says as she goes over to the table and gets a tray and places food on it, “Here Aarti dear take this and ensure he rest and eats,” Aarti nods as he takes her sick husband back to bed.
IN THEIR ROOM;
Yash is under the covers and Aarti sits before him with the tray, “Open up Yashji,” but he refused to eat and after the 100th attempt and a cute argument Yash decided to eat only if Aarti eats with him. So spoon by spoon they lovingly fed each other until Radha entered the room.
“Aarti you must take Yash to the doctor as there is a horrible disease and Yash must be treated,” she said as she hurried Yash and Aarti to the hospital.
AT THE HOSPITAL
Dr. Anuradha informs Yash that it is a minor cold but she must administer a flu shot to him. Upon hearing this fear ran through Yash face and Aarti recalls the time when Yash was afraid of needles. As the doctor say for Yash and Aarti to follow her Yash clings to Aarti’s hand with there interlocked fingers as they walked down the hall following the doctor. As they walked past a guy in doctors clothes just walking out of the operation room spots Aarti alone and recognizes her, “Can that really be? Oh yes it is none other than Aarti. She is so beautiful…I’m sorry I couldn’t make her mind before. It is because of my mother, but that is all the past I’m sure she is single and divorcee or not I plan to make her mine!” she say as he walks out.
IN THE DOCTOR’S ROOM
AS Yash holds on to Aarti for dear life the doctors administers the shot. “there all done did it hurt?” the doctor asked Yash who is paying no care at all and is gazing at Aarti.
Aarti shakes Yash breaking him out of his trance. “Oh yes ummm ready doc!” Yash says preparing for pain, thinking “You’re a tough guy Yash, come on make Aarti proud and after…yes! Ask her to pay tax for you being brave,” But Yash’s thoughts were broken when Arti informed him that he is all done and that they can leave.
Yash was amazed and pleased at the wonders his wife’s beauty can do.
AS they walk out Yash places his arm around Aarti and think to himself,”Wow I’m so lucky, not other guy can have a wife this beautiful in their arms….she is my most beautiful one and non can have her.” THE SCREEN FREEZES ON THERE HAPPY FACES.

So what are they trying to show? That you force someone to marry a woman? Treat her like yesterday’s crap, make her a slave in you classless family, taunt her day and night, blame her for getting married to Raj because his first love left him.
Divya left her so called “true love”, I say so called because had she truly loved him she would have kept in contact. In this modern age there is telephone, if not cell phones, there emails and a million other ways of communication to keep in contact. Raj is the son of a wealthy businessman. Would it have been so hard for his to fly to Mumbai once or twice a year to meet her? Then she comes back after ten years and bam pick up where you left off.
This show needs a reality check in more ways than one. It just don’t make sense.
And to top it off Divya heard how rude the mother in law was to the daughter in law, she does not know under what circumstances they live and what created the situation for the daughter in law to behave in such a manner.
Well this is not CB it’s supposed to be a real life situation.
Divya should be hurt.
So are they going to show Raj divorcing, what’s her name? Well shrishti to marry Divya?
So then the title is inappropriate.
So are they also telling the audience a marriage such as that one cannot survive?
I know one that did not last three five years. But this is going into ten years or more. And it is Indian, Indian people stick it out no matter what. It’s not like there is any violence against anyone or physical harm or life endangerment he for genuine case of divorce.
Well Charu and Mayank divorce because Charu was a nut case and she almost damaged Rachna and wanted to kill etc.

Ok , so in PV Yash had an arranged marriage with Aarti . But , luckily for them both they both fell in love . Here is a similar situation of an arranged marriage but , Raj is stuck in the past just like Yash was . However , Raj’s love is still alive . Sarita is his wife in the eyes of society and God .
Raj’s family has an incorrect perception based on a television show of what an ideal daughter- in – law should be like . Sarita does not meet their high expectations , she is trying but is not being encouraged gently but rather forcibly and with contempt . The fact that Raj also seems to scorn his wife allows room for his family to look down on her .
The reality is very different from the on screen world . Divya has lived her life with hopes and expectations of returning to find Raj waiting for her with open arms . Divya wasn’t his wife for all these years . She wasn’t there to deal with his uncouth family . Raj’s family compares Divya to Sarita , but would Divya have been the ideal daughter -in- law like Radica ???
It may not be dealing with Punar Vivah just yet . But , it is making me wonder . Is being able to have the love of ones life a good enough reason for divorcing your spouse ??

The family’s wealth came from dealing with scrap metals . They are trying to pattern their lives based on a television show . Their wealth could not change their attitudes nor their aptitude for the better . This is the kind of people who PApa S was afraid of throwing scorn on his family’s activities .
I am wondering if and why would they accept another woman to replace Sarita . They should be against divorce and remarriage . They would be hypocritical to chase perfection by discarding their son’s wife in favour of one that they think might be perfect .

Serita seems to have a very strong personality and she will endure until she has had enough.The mother in law and sisters better brace themselves because she will set them all in their rightful place.
Serita should also let Divya know where to get off and should remind the husband who he got married too.
It also appear that after ten years this couple has not enjoyed a normal healthy married life.
Raj may not accept Divya for the pain that she has caused him,remember the advise given to the young man on the railway station…but he should get off that mode by now.
Yash was unhappy for a couple months.Raj is unhappy for ten years.
Serita ought to take control of her life and her affairs.
This family is so very opposite the Scindhia family.
I suppose this is what makes it difficult for all to accept.

May 24, 15:39Hi Amaica , whether we accept it or not , this show will be here for a while so let us just observe and make the most of it .
I don’t think that Raj and Sarita had any contact with eachother and yes Raj seems heartbroken by Divya . Divya seems to have things planned in her head that she would have a successful career and then return and get married to her true love . She doesn’t seem to have factored in , nor did she seem to care about how Raj felt . Even her decision to visit Raj’s house screams overconfidence . Why does she expect time to stand still for Raj when her life was active .?? She portrayed a a character known for perfection and divinity on screen as Radha , but her real nature is vastly different . Again the writers use subtle things to give us clues . Remember when the lady offered her eliche he tea and she said that Radica likes eliche tea . But , Divya didn’t like that type of tea . Raj seems to have been a great influence in her life and she is trying to recapture his heart , but , in my opinion she is wrong to interfere .
Raj’s family forced him to marry in order for them to get an heir . Ten years later there is no heir . Raj is sad and sulky and wasted 10 years of life that he can never get back . I really hope that they do not show Sarita in a negative light . I want to see what he will do if Sarita is a good wife to him .

And yes,,, Yash has an arranged marriage but he was married before and his wife died and left him with two children to care for,,, and Aarti to was married too but her husband left her for another woman and she too had a son to care for…………… So the family deem it necessary for them to be remarried so Aarti can take care of Yash and his children………….. But in this serial,,,,, this is both Raj and Sarita first marriage,, and nobody is dead,,, and that why I ask why with the Punar Vivah??????????
