Scene 1:
Location: Jagotia’s and Divya’s residence
Raj comes to them, and asks shiela to forget the boy, as he wont let her marry that already married boy.
Raj says that shiela isnt a burden, that they would get rid of her, by tying her to the first person that they get. He says that he would select a good boy for her, and asks her to forget about rohan. Raj says that he wont let her be married to a divorced man. shiela and sarita are shocked. sarita wants to convey to raj, that they are in love, and hence this shouldnt be a problem. Raj says that it isnt like that, and that he is a good person. sarita says that shiela and he mutually liked each other, and she would be with the person who loves her and would want to marry her. she says that if he gets married to divya, it would be his seconnd, and divya’s first, and after all its just love that metters. She asks him to rethink this descision, and asks if he wants happiness for his sister. raj says that he wants her to get married and lead a happy life, and asks if she really likes her, who shys away. Raj says that he would himself see that she marries him. She hugs him. Sarita says that now her vidaai would be after shiela’s. She is about to place a hand, when she flinches as it sets on raj’s.

The next morning, sarita finds him dressing, naked from the waist, and shys away. As raj tunrs around, she instant;y looks away, and gives him juice that she got for him. she asks him to control his temper when he talks to his father. raj says that he understands when explained once. He says that its feels like an FM station now. sarita smiles at his teasing. He drinks the juice, and gets ready to face father without getting angry. she wishes him luck, and he thanks her for that.

Raj goes to the drawing area, and finds everyone busy in their work. they are surprised to see him there, sitting on the sofa. The girls discuss as to how he’s sitting with his father. shiela and sarita too come ther. raj says that he wants to talk about rohan, and that he’s a nice man, and the family is gos too, and true hearted, and if he likes shiela then they should….But soham cuts him short saying that boys are not scarce for his girl, that he has to get her married to a married person. Raj says that he also got angry at first, but sarita explained and he understood, that ikf two people love each other and are happy, then why should they bother. Soham asks kamla to bring his shoes, and clean them with her dupatta, and as she does so, he mentions that this is the rightful place for her or any woman. Raj gets very angry.

As sarita tries to control him, raj says that one who cant respect women, how can he take the right descision for his own daughter. raj says that shiela is his sister, and he would see to it that she marries rohan. raj says that if his descisions result in punishment, then he would take all the descisions and be the head of the family. Sohan asks raj what result of his is wrong. The fact that divya is his daughter in law. He says that after all, raj is the one fascinating over her. He reprimands raj for being so brash to even suggest this. Raj asks her why was he getting sarita married, and that if its because Sarita isnt his real daughter. raj says that he has no intention of marrying or bringing divya into this house, and that was ten years back, and still he wouldnt have brought her into this hell of a house. soham says that he wanted him to settle in his life and hence he wanted to get his wife remarried so that he could start afresh. A clap makes them stare towards the gate, and they find sarita’s parents. Sarita is shocked to see them. others too are guilty at what her parents just heard, and are looking away, not wanting to look at them in the eye. They say that she suffered ten years from her husband and her in laws’ and yet said nothing. He says that had sohan not asked for his daughter’s Dowry from them, they wouldnt have gotten to know about this. Sohan is embarassedly looking away. sarita tries to take them aside. But he says that he wants answer from them, that if they didnt want to give sarita the respect she deserves, then why they married her. He slaps raj saying that he’s responsible for spoiling his daughter’s life. sarita says that he’s wrong. He says that he has understood what he wanted to, and asks sarita why didnt he tell him all this while. he says that he would have taken them then got her remarried. As sohan tries to defend, he loses his temper, saying that no more dramas, and if they do anything else, then they would be behind bars, by his one phone call.

Her mother comes and says that they would have taken her, if they thought of her as a burden. raj apologises profusely, for his behaviour towards sarita, and that this descision is with her will only. But her father says that like father, like son, he too wants to bring another woman in his life like his father. He says that if any descision is taken without his daughter’s permission, then he would put them behind bars fr a minimum of ten years. he grabs sarita’s hands and takes her out of the house, while all are shocked. sarita stops saying that she wants to stay here, shocking them, and that raj has taken this descision with her permission. He asks why is she still draping raj’s mistakes. he asks her to come along so that they can give her all the happiness in life. She says that it lies with raj only. they are shocked at this. Sarita asks him to notice that he didnt even flinch even at being hit, as he realises his mistake, and in his eyes, he respects her, as if he didnt respect or care for her, he could have behaved rudely with them. Sarita says that she would have gone, if he behaved elsewise, and by doing what he did, he has made her proud. and as far as their relation is concerned, he never loved her, but cared as if he didnt, then he would have got another woman in life, while she’s still here, but he didnt. her mother asks if she got love. Sarita says that she herself is responsible for that too, as she couldnt have made her deserving of his love. He may have not loved him, but never illtreated him, and since for that she wants to be with him only. She says that now she is raj’s responsibility. She says that If raj wants, her palenquin would leave from here. her father asks how can she place this trust on him and not her own parents. She says that she trusts him more than god. Her mother says that she would regret it later. Sarita says that only he can make her happy, shocking them and raj too. she folds her hands, and her father and mother leave in disgust. sarita is in tears. raj comes to her and tries to hold her, but she runs from there. The screen freezes on his tensed face.

Precap: Raj says to sarita, in their room, that her parents were right in blaming him, and for him, she distanced herself from her family. He says that he can see the love she feels for him, in her eyes. She is overwhelmed to hear this.
