Punar Vivah 2 02nd September 2013 Written Episode

Scene 1:
Location: Jagotia’s residence
Raj says that he has been very late in confessing his love. He says that ten years he said nothing, and realised now in five months. He says that what dream he hasnjt seen so long, is now seeing and wants to be with her. He doses off saying that he loves her. she takes his hand, saying that she has waited for ten years, to hear this and that granny was right after all, that this monsoon would make her life wonderful. She says that whatever raj said, she cant reciprocate but would say this, that she has always seen ther dream of residing in his heart, and being in his arms always. She says that she has been without happiness for ten years, and compensated now altogether. she says that even if she dies today…but raj places a hand on her lips to stop her from talking. Sarita says that he is too late, and god knows whats in the future, as she;s engaged to vikrant. She is in tears holding his hand.

The next morning, Raj wakes up to find sarita dressed, and working in the room. He goes upto her, and talks about last night and starts fumbling. He finds her earing stuck in his kurta, and before he can give it to her, he hears kamla hollering at their door, to open it for her. Sarita asks what happened. kamla says that one night changed her, and that everyday she woke up early morning, but not today. She says that she would just be in the kitchen. But kamla refuses. Kamla asks both of them to get ready and be in the hall. After she leaves, sarita again gets back to her work. Before raj can pick the topic again, kamla again hollers and sarita leaves. raj is tensed.

In the hall, everyone is ogling at the jewellery and the gifts. Sarita comes and asks who brought them. vikrant comes and says that he got them for his wife, on the occassion of their marriage, as he knows that this is a woman’s weakness. She says that she isnt weakened by such gifts. Sarita says that had he cared for, he would have asked before coming. She thinks that he wont ask as he never has the habit of asking or thinking about someone else. Vikrant says thats his problem that he takes descisions himself. He says that the jewellery peices are exclusive and would suit her very much. He asks her to choose. Kamla is burning with jealousy. They are stunned to see that its over 50 lakhs. Vikrant asks sarita to try something, and picks one for her. He asks if he can help her to wear it. She is hesitant. Vikrant says that she shouldnt as they are getting married in a week. But she still doesnt like the idea.

Vikrant asks the jeweller to leave everything with sarita only. She would c hoose and they would send the bill to his office. All leave. only raj, vikrant and sarita remain. Vikrant again insists that he can try now. Sarita complies. All look on. Vikrant places it around her neck, while raj and shiela are tensed. He compliments her. He also shows her the earrings. Sarita takes off what she has worn. Vikrant notices that she’s missing the other earring, and asks her about the same. Raj produces it in his hand. All are tensed. vikrant is tensed to see this. Sarita too is speechless. He asks why is it with raj. Shiela makes up a story that raj had to go to the jeweller, for earrings and hence had taken one for sample. Raj plays on. Vikrant is assured. Vikrant also places the earrings on sarita. He compliments her yet again. He gets a call, and asks sarita if they can leave. She asks where to. He says that they have to go to the shadi mandap. Seeing her tensed, he says that he’s joking and actually its abhi’s parent teachers’ meeting, and he wants to take his new mother. Sarita thinks that she has to go to talk to raj. He says that he doesnt like being late. Seeing her shy, kamla asks her to go, as he’s calling withy such love. Resignedly, sarita leaves with him, while raj eyes the earring in his hand. He goes inside.

In his room, raj is tensed. shiela comes in asking him to stop talking to himself and blurt out for god’s sake. Raj asks her to leave him alone, and let him think. shiela says that its been late already, and even after ten years, they reached the stage where they cant live without each other. Raj thinks that he may have confessed his love in drunken state, but what about the engagement, and vikrant would be a problem, if he knows that raj loves sarita.

Scene 2:
Location: Abhi’s school
Abhi continuously asks if sarita knows the name of his teacher. But she is lost in Raj’s thoughts. vikrant asks her to answer the question. Sarita apologises and gets into chatting with abhi. Abhi asks him to wait, and rushes inside. Both awakwardly face each other. Abhi gets his best friend, Pratham, to introduce him to his mother. They formally have an intro with sarita. Abhi tells that he used to be teased that his mother never came, but nomore as now she would come everytime, and is very sweet. Abhi leaves, while vikrant thanks her for coming even if they arent married yet. He says that abhi is right is calling him a mother, as she’s the best suited person. He asks her to kerep abhi happy always, as if he is sad, then he wont be able to bear it at all. Sarita hears him intently.

Scene 3:
Location: Jagotia’s residence
The family are still ogling at the jewellery. Sarita comes back. Kamla is in a changed tone and asks very nicely about her time spent. She tries to express Sarita is searching around for raj, but kamla tells her to leave him alone, as she has no relation with him, and now she would get divya as his bahu. raj returns back. Soham reminds some work. Raj says that he would tend to it. Raj takes her aside to talk. Sarita leaves with him.

In the room, They both say that they wanted to talk to each other. They both start talking and silence together. Raj says that he wanted to apologise, and got drunk too much, and wasnt in the right frame to talk, and forgot that she’s going to marry vikrant, and she would be happy with him. Sarita says that he’s lying. Raj says that whatever he said yesterday was true, and straight from the heart. He say that he may have taken the wrong path but that was the only path, to say what had made him restless for so many days. He says that he has been very late in understanding her, but not anymore. He says that he may have been very late, but he ccant stay without her.They both hug each other tightly. He says that for ten years he didnt bother fopr her, but she kept forgiving and bearing with her, and its impossible for anyone else to do this for someone. They go into a flashbacks of their time spent together. She breaks into tears. But then her eyes fall on the dupatta, that she had given divya, and she jersks herself from his arms. She takes that broken frame. She says that his life was divya. He says that vikrant is now in his life. Raj says that they may have confessed their love, but everything is messy and complicated now, and they forgot their promises, one made to vikran by getting him engaged to sarita, and the other one made to divya. Sarita says that this frame being broken is a sign by destiny to tell that their ways are seperate and they have to get remarried. Sarita says that they may have been late in confessing, but this was much needed, as the realisation has happened now.

Sarita asks if it would be right to move on in their lives, and letting their love die, and be with someone else. Sarita asks if they dont have the power to accept their love in front of the world. Raj is very tensed. He says that all had tried to make him understand but he took so much time. He says that he cant solve this. He says that he would talk to vikrant and divya, who as is it wanted this. He says that he would manage vikrant. He asks her not to be scared, as he would clear everything. She says that divya may agree, but not vikrant as he doesnt like hearing no. She remembers the promise that she had given to vikrant. She says that she would. Raj offers that he would talk. But she maintains that she would talk, as abhi is involved, and it would be very difficult for him to understand, due to breaking abhi’s heart. Just then, kamla asks him to open the door, saying that shiela is in trouble, and wants to talk to him only.

Scene 4:
Location: In the park
Shiela is very angry tht guru is so late inc oming. Guru apologises and says that he got late in dealing with customers, and saw a particular saree, and got it for her. She says that its a very expenxive gift, and how did he manage it. He says that he got a raise, and asked the boss to cut the payment in installments. She is about to hug him in glee, but then stops herslf, and they face each other in excitement. She asks why he got this gift. He says that due to her, he got his job back. She hugs him unabashed. Guru asks whats she doing, as people are watching. But she says that she isnt scared. She says that she never realised when she fell in love, but now she cant stay without him. he says that he too wants the same, and asks if her family wont resist, due to financial differences and also that he looks like rohan. Shiela says that she didnt ask them before falling in love, and hence doesnt care what they think. Shiela says that she would only marry him and noone else. Just then, they are surrounded by the same goons, who guru had beaten up the first time. They all begin to tease shiela while beating up guru. shiela is shocked and screams for help. she calls up someone for help.

Scene 5:
Location: Vikrant’s residence
Vandana gets Abhi toys, and asks him to play with them and if he likes them. But abhi says that he cant take them nor does he want to play with them. Vandana is surprised and asks why. He says that sarita has asked him to play outdoor games instead of spending time in video games. Abhi says that he would listen to everything that his mother says, and refsues to accept the gitfs. As he leaves, vandana asks if this isnt too much, that abhi is too attached. Vikrant says that there’s nothing wrong, as she’s his mother, and that she is inculcating good habits in him. Vandana asks if they are placing too much faith in her, as it isnt even sure that she would come here, as on the eve of engagement, she had her eys only for raj. She says that sarita can do anything for raj. vikrant clears her confusion, and also tells about the promise that sarita made. Vandana still doubts if this is true, and hopes that this faith isnt broken. He says that raj is her past, and he her present and future, and there’s no place for raj. He leaves. Vandana wonders if vikrant’s started liking her as he would have never favoured her otherwise. She decides to do something.

Scene 6:
Location: The city hospital and Jagotia’s residence
Shiela calls up dishevelled from the hospital, and raj asks where is she. She asks him to come up at the hospital, as she needs his help. They hurriedly go out. kamla is dishevelled too. all arrive at hospital. They ask shiela what happened. She says that her friend is hurt. Sarita asks what is it that she only wants to talk to raj. She narrates the entire accident, saying that she didnt have the courage to talk to everyone. Shiela says that she wants to talk alone with raj, before making them see him. Just then, the receptionist comes in, asking for the payment and soham asks which ward is he in. She tells that he’s in ward No 1. Kamla and soham reach there to see the patient. They are shocked to see rohan being treated, while shiela is concerned by his bedside. Evereyone is confused. Shiela is speechless. The screen freezes on raj’s tensed face.

Precap: Vikrant says that he knew that she would come, and asks her to say what she wants to, as he wants to put an end to this straightaway. Sarita is tensed and doesnt understand how to bring this up.
