Punar Vivah 17th May 2013 Written Episode
Scene 1:
Location: Yash’s residence
While yash is flirting with her, arti is in a fix what to do. Yash tells her to say that she’s sick. arti says that then radha will also stay back then. She rubbishes all other ideas also. Yash tells her to say clearly then, that she cant be without him. Arti says that they all would make fun of her then, and asks him to let her go, else she would miss her flight. Yash asks her to miss it then, as she would the only person there along with him, and they can be with each other then. He corners her against the wall, locking her in his arms, not allowing her space to move. Arti remembers how she had confessed her love to him, with the poetry. They romantically gaze into each other’s eyes, reminisceing romantically, intimate past moments.(TUM HI HO)She scares him saying that suraj has entered the room, and he grows conscious, and arti finds this time, to escape from his grip, and run off, while he stands sad. Arti rushes back and saying I LOVE YOU, rushes off again. Yash tries to stop her, but in vain.
Radha and arti advise prateik on whats to be done with the baby, and also take him for the vaccination. Yash asks them not to forget calling. Vidhi again starts teasing that this statement is only meant for arti. Arti tells yash everything that he needs to know about his requirements. To be able to spend some more time, yash asks arti to arrange his stuff again, but arti teases him saying that he too needs a vaccination. pankaj too joins in teasing yash. Buaji too comes in and says that she’s waiting for a along time, and they would miss the flight if they dont leave now. they all are on the move. Yash and arti tell each other, that they would miss the other.
Pari and prateik takes care of the child, readying him to go for vaccination. Pratiek however is very nervous about being naive in han dling a baby for the first time. She shows the diary that arti has written for her, giving her all the instructions. She says that she’s a student to arti. He teases her saying that she would have to live upto her teacher’s teachings. She says that she too would be a good mother like arti. Prateik says that she has forgotten him ever since ayu came in their lives. They get into a romantic chatter, with pari teasing prateik about the fact that prateik has been duly replaced by ayu, as pari’s BABU. But finally she pleases prateik too, by confessing that she loves him too much, and he would always be her first love.
Scene 2:
Location: In the hospital
Pari and prateik reach the hospital. While prateik gets busy in parking, pari gets down along with ayu, and goes inside the hospital. As pari walks past the reception, ishita casts an evil glance on her, draped in a shawl. Ishita says that this is a very big mistake that arti left ayu alone, and gave her a second cahnce to take her revenge on her, by kidnapping ayu. She says that their enemity started with yash, and would end with ayu. she says that she wont be able to live in peace, if she doesnt take everything from her. She looks on with a determined stare.
While pari is walking with the child, after the vaccination, a nurse, planted by ishita, comes and says that one of ayu’s dose is still left, and wants to take the baby inside. But pari says that she wont leave the baby alone, and wont commit the same mistake twice. Pari says that she too would go with the child. But the nurse asks her to wait, while she gives him the dose, but pari is adamant. Ishita, seeing this from a distance, understands that she has been given proper training by arti, and wonders what to do next.
Pari gets prateik’s call, who asks how much time more it would take. The nurse, seeing that she’s busy on her call, takes the baby from her, saying that she would give him the dose, while she finishes the call. Ishita is happy to see her plan work. the nurse takes him inside, while ishita goes through the back door. Ishita stealthily gets in, draping a shawl. she steals ayu from the nurse, and runs off. Yash too joins prateik, while he talks with pari, on the phone.
Scene 3:
Location: In the car in Bhopal and in Mumbai’s hospital
All are talking how much they are liking being in Bhopal, and have their plans made for the holidays.
Yash gives arti a message, welcoming him to bhopal. Vidhi again teases her regarding the same, while arti decides to call yash about this, and find about ayu’s health.
As the nurse comes out, she tells pari that she has already given her the baby, while she was on the phone, while pari is shocked to hear this. The nurse tries to reprimand him, in turn that she couldnt handle her own kid, and is blaming the staff. Pari tells that she would complain about the nurse to the police. Ishita meanwhile, runs out with the baby. Pari sees this and runs after her, reprimanding her that she would forever regret this. But ishita doesnt listen. pari calls up yash and prateik and tells them everything. prateik and yash run after her. Yash waits and searches outside, while prateik goes inside the hospital to find pari. Pari and prateik, togethr serach for ishita, while yash looks outside. They cant however find ishita anywhere.
In the meanwhile, yash gets arti’s call, asking about ayu. He cancels the call in haste, telling that everything’s alright, and he would call her later. Arti is a little tensed hearing yash’s urgent tone, and wonders if everything’s alright.
Meanwhile, they spot ishita getting into the car, and are shocked. shegets into the car and drives off, with yash missing her car by an inch. The screen freezes on yash’s shocked face.
Precap: The final episode shows how yash and arti say godbye to their faithful audience, and the new entrants take over, amisdt huge celebrations, at the threshold of a new beginning of PUNAR VIVAAH.

May 18, 14:08I’M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol was so so busy with school but didn’t miss one single episode and I’m trying not to cry much so keeping the tears till Monday and
well MK again sorry for the mix up but I knew I would not be online for a while so I posted the good bye before but anyway the mixup was my birthday is on the 21st of may which is Tuesday I’m so so so sorry for the confusion, do forgive me and it is double sad because I have to spend Monday watching tha last episode of PV and
I need to say this VAAH AARTIJI VAAH LOVED THE WAY YOU HANDLED ISHITA THAT DAY AT THE HOTEL AND I WAS WRONG YASH ACTUALLY USED FORCE BUT VAAH LOVED IT SO MUCH and before on Monday’s episode I wanted to shatter my tv screen because the snake was touching Yash!! But Thuraday epi made up for that…not so eagerly awaiting Monday but hey every good thing must come to an end eventually!!!

May 18, 13:33It’s sad to see this show end. It has a cast of talented actors who gave us great entertainment and now have to step aside to make way for other new beginnings (PV2).
The kids made a huge impact on the viewers, their acting skills are amazing. Hope they are able to continue to bring joy to more fans in their future endeavors.

AarYa: A Fatal Encounter
Yash rested his head against the cool metal of the bench in the waiting area of the hospital outside the operation theatre. In his hands he held a styrofoam cup of tea that had gone cold, but he could not bring himself to put it down or dump it in the dustbin.
Almost five hours ago Aarti had been stabbed. Yash could remember the early pregnancy scare and all the close calls of injury and falls that he he had protected and pulled Aarti through. Yet this was the first time Yash had not been able to do anything but press down on the wound in an attempt to make the bleeding stop.
It was Aayu’s naming ceremony and the priest had been invited to perform the havan for Aayu naming ceremony, good health and long life. As per the Scindhiya custom the astrologer pandit had also been called to draw up Aayu’s kundali (horoscope) that day. The guests were being received by all the family members and Aarti was mingling among them but then Aayu demanded to be fed. So Aarti and Aayu retired to their room so that she could nurse him in privacy.
Ansh and PayPal the proud siblings of Aayu were explaining to everybody how Aayu was being named after their parents Aarti and Yash. When Ishita started correcting them and telling them that Aayu’s name would be changed. Then an argument erupted between her and PayPal-Ansh that resulted in Ishita going beserk, taking a knife from the kitchen and rushing to the bedroom and stabbing Aarti.
He trembled as he recollected hearing Aarti’s shriek followed by a loud wail from Aayu. Panic had gripped his heart but he had rushed to the room thrust Ishita out, picked Aayu and laid him on bed while tending to Aarti. His throat ran dry and tears clouded his vision as he remembered Aarti’s blood seeping through his fingers. But Aarti had been her usual brave and strong self —- even amidst the pain she had given him that special look and smile albiet a weak one and whilst clinging to him had whispered she would be fine.
Yash smiled as he recalled Aarti’s brave words, it was so typical of Aarti to be optimistic and say something like that. It had given him the courage and strength he needed to take charge of the situation. Immediately he had asked Prateek to call a doctor and ambulance. Aakash was holding on to Ishita until the doctor arrived. Radha ma had taken Aayu with her and Vidhi bhabhi was taking care of Ansh-PayPal.
The wait for the ambulance, ride to the hospital and finally getting the required medical attention for Aarti were moments that had driven Yash almost insane. Yash now understood what the saying bleeding to death meant. He recalled his frustration at watching Aarti losing more and more blood … blood soaking and seeping through the cloth he was using to staunch it! The memory of Aarti’s bleeding made him feel helpless and weak.
In this one year they had been together — Yash had not only lost his heart to Aarti but was also well aware that without her life would be meaningless for him. He thought of the time he had first told her ‘I love you’ … now will he get the chance to say that to her again? He did not know but he knew he would do all he could to make her live. He closed his eyes and fervently and reverently resumed his prayers to God.
Because Aarti had lost a lot of blood before she was brought to the hospital. She had barely been conscious when examined by the doctor. Her heart beat was slow, blood pressure too low and pulse weak. She was whisked away to the operation theatre immediately and here he was waiting for the nurse and doctor to give him some news.
Yash rubbed his stubbled chin. It was eleven in the night — Aarti was still in the operating theater. The adrenaline rush that had sustained him since 5:00 pm had waned and worry was gripping his insides.
Suddenly he realized the surgeon was standing in front of him. “Mr Yash Scindhiya?”
“Yes” Yash replied feebly as he stood up to face the doctor.
“Your wife is out of surgery” the doctor continued smilingly “She is one fighter. I am confident she will make full recovery. It will take some time though.”
Yash slowly released his breath — he hadn’t realized he had been holding it. Aarti his beloved – his soul mate would be alright. He closed his eyes for a second as he sent a silent thank you prayer to God. He suddenly felt dizzy with relief and joy.
“Thank you doctor for all you have done for my wife — that’s wonderful news. Will it be OK if I see my wife now?” Yash asked.
The doctor nodded and indicated the room. Yash rushed to Aarti’s bedside and clung on to her hand and whispered soothing words in her ear — telling her everything is alright. Aarti was still in stupor from the anaesthesia but he knew she could hear him and feel him.
Finally after about 10 mins or so Yash walked away from Aarti’s bed towards the window and phoned SM. Pankaj picked up the phone. He gave Pankaj the good news and asked him how kids were faring and the going ons at SM.
Pankaj informed him that Radha ma was taking care of Aayu. Ansh was with Prateek and PayPal with Vidhi. The doctor had advised that Ishita be admitted to a mental institution for intensive care. Akaash and Bauji had just returned after getting her admitted.
Yash could hear SP’s voice in the background enquiring about Aarti’s condition.
SP got on the phone and Yash assured him that Aarti would be recovering fully. Before hanging up SP said “Beta please tell Aarti bahu that we are eagerly awaiting her return home. Aayu needs her … if the doctor permits then get her discharged so she can recoup at home”.
As Yash cut off the call and turned to face Aarti. He realized he was much calmer and the rhythmic sounds of the heart monitor were soothing. He pulled a chair to the bed and sat on it fighting all tiredness to stay awake. The next thing he knew was that it was early morning and some one was running their fingers through his hair. He suddenly remembered where he was — he was still holding Aarti’s hand and Aarti had entwined her fingers through it.
“Yashji, I know you are awake” Aarti said.
“Aarti, I did not know you were awake though” said Yash. He slowly lifted his head, cupped her face and gently kissed her on the forehead.
Both looked at each other tenderly — it felt like coming together after a long separation. “I love you Aarti. All I want is for you to rest and get well soon. We will talk later — now let me hold you while you rest.”
“I love you too Yash and I would very much like you to hold me”… said Aartiji before drifting off to a drugged sleep again!

She also confessed that ending of the show was not wrong or shocking at all. “What starts has to end someday. And let’s face it, the creatives were honest enough to admit that there was nothing left in the story to take it forward.”
The actress is also quite satisfied with her character graph. “I could not have asked for more.”

The big day on Monday 20th May will witness Yash and Aarti played by Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar handing the story to the new cast of (Punar Vivah – Ek Nayee Umeed), the beautiful Kratika Sengar will dance into Raj Kapoor’s film (Heena) popular song (Aaj Ve Mahi Tera Raasta Oh Dheekliye). The beautiful actress who is portraying the role Aarti will be dancing and waiting for Yash to come to Bhopal, where our hero Yash will come and we witness them meeting the females leads of the new storyline…

May 18, 10:04You know Suni, I’ve always wondered why on earth did the Mittals let the kidnappers tell the witch where Ayu was. This could have been written differently and get rid of the evilness before the end of the show. Remember she told them to throw the baby away in the jungle? They should have told her they threw him in a river or something.
Then when the dancer told Arti all she would have then revealed the name of the orphanage.

Serious, the person in charge from the regional corporation at the crematorium is know to us and he says they pic from there to sell. I don’t care. I love mangoes. Anyway what you said, well actually it is so true. Remember in the olden days all the reading books used to be English from England, or in the case of the CM schools from Canada, and all written in standard English.
But if you take a look at the books they use in schools these days are a far cry from having standard English.
So not surprised at all. When my daughter went into ASJA girls I thought ok it’s a city school compared the country school, like penal, siparia, barrackpore etc. but her English went from a St. Gabriel s girls proper or standard English to Trini parlance. Worst yet was from St. Benedict’s where my son went for one year. Now he is in Pres and improving quite a bit compared to his TML type English.
When my father started school he was 12 that’s when the first CM school was built in his village, he went to school for one year, and what he did then, how much English he learned, I am still trying to understand how my college education didn’t get me to his level.
I think our education system over the years have brought this today. Which, I do agree with you, is very funny, we being a nation born out of, how shall I put it, colonialism? English? Whatever it was?
As you know also we are a copycat nation and like to copy the US and Canadian type language.
Also have you ever listen to the, what we call “UWI” accent? You can barley understand what these “girls say”. The boys don’t have it so much.

May 18, 10:43Mk , I totally understand . When I first went into UTT , I was surprised at the level that most of the students were at with regards to English . Some didn’t even pass but gained admission on the condition that they take a remedial class of sorts . The English professor had asked for a synonym for the word ” ran ” as used within a particular sentence , do you know most of the students did not know another word for ran !!! The nations youths are not really in good hands because most of the teachers only get into the profession for money and not for the love of it .
Do you ever read Dr Seuss for your little girl ?? He is a brilliant children’s author and he had a story about ” The Bee – watcher – watcher ” . It pretty much related the story of a guy who was put in position to observe the bees to ensure that they perform their work efficiently . The bosses felt that he wasn’t doing a good job so , they added a bee watcher watcher and it went on and on in that way .
We don’t have proper bee watchers in Trinidad . Teachers are not held accountable for the failures within society . They march for higher wages but no one condemns them for their poor quality work . It is a profession that I have entered into , but I am not blind to the flaws . There is no accountability and we couldn’t even find 5 persons to place in the Integrity Commission because no one has proper morals anymore . It all starts from the top , the government also sets a terrible example . Have you heard the way some ministers speak ???

I know a out UTT and their students and how they get entry. UTT was meant for a certain type of people, of you know what I mean. The totally uneducated.
My nephew in law is a lecturer at Couva and south and he is always and forever with “how in the hell these people get in here”. And he himself is very young and says he cannot understand the education these days.

Zeetvusa is now showing the one you translated for me with Yash and Aarti talking where they are seated and Aarti was asking the questions and Yash was replying to her. Is this the only promotion that is aired in India or are there others. I’m asking this because I think I saw some others. If there are others shown in India can you tell me and perhaps translate what Yash and Aarti are saying. I think there is one on the bridge where both of them are talking and also one in the living room where they are standing somewhere in front of the tv. So can you tell me if there are others and be kind enough to translate, I would be ever so grateful. Thanks Apple.

I’ve noticed this trend with all serials I’ve looked at over the few years I’ve started.
And I do agree with SJ I Afreesh and others when they say they take good actors and give them some crappy roles so sell their crap. We look at it and raise their TRPs. We get hooked on these characters.
They took the cake when it came to PV. Took two of the best of the lot and turned them into monkeys dancing to their rediculous tunes and bringing in a bigger monkey in the form of Ishita, (well she is actually and I sult to the poor cute moneys) but still.
Then to top it off they getting some more popular actors, start off rocking (that is yet to be seen) get these actors fans hooked and then turn it into total crap once again.
I can not comprehen how these producers, PHs writers etc, could think that only scandalous story lines sells their product. It’s beyond me.

May 17, 20:06Mk , PV had a great storyline , great symbolism and wonderful character development for the most part . The Mittals may not have gotten everything right , but PV was a good story for quite a while .
. The failure of PV seemed inevitable because the dynamics just weren’t right . The renowned , experienced and talented actors and PH team couldn’t keep PVs vital signs from flatlining .
Looking in as a fan , I have seen too much being taken for granted when it came to the PV end product . A cast that is not committed cannot create a successful show . Like Sj said , GC had other commitments that were in conflict with his relationship with the Mittals and Zee TV . Many other cast members also had outside commitments . I honestly feel that GC was spreading himself too thin . Incidents may have occurred behind the scenes , which will forever remain under the proverbial covers .
I hesitate to blame just one party , even though I am biased towards GC ; I know that he is not completely blameless in this affair . KS said outright that she doesnt want any kissing scenes . Debina had an ever weary and watchful eye on GC . Afreesh mentioned that it was surprising that chemistry amazingly appeared between ArYa … at the last moment , where was it before ?? Do we blame poor acting , poor direction , or the writers for not thinking it the appropriate time for intense romance ??? Who deserves most blame ??
Everybody seemed to have their own agenda , which did not involve pleasing the audience . The TRPs fell dramatically , the show was losing audience appeal with it’s frustrating storyline .
Everyone of them seems complicit , in some way , to bring about PV’s downfall . . ..

But they killed that beautiful concept. If GC had a problem in committing, ok fine, write around. Create different circumstances to ease him off. Even Arti. That’s why they are the creative team. Be creative for crying out loud. They could have ended on a better note. Instead of that Ishita track, and it did run for like forever, they could have looked at another avenue. Well we had papa s PV. There was Buaji PV. There was Pari and Pratik issue. It could have been better in the end

May 17, 22:48Yeah Mk , Afreesh and I have discussed this ad nauseum on previous forums .
We never decided on who deserves most blame . If an actor signs on for a job , why should his employers have to work around his schedule ??? He is being paid to give 100 % for whatever he has committed himself to doing . There appears to have been an impasse between PH and the actor / actors . There would have been binding contracts that needed dissolving . Something made the Mittals abandon their creation and start afresh . Something made them rush to end PV . We dont know , and may never know , exactly what .
The fans would not have accepted a replacement for GC . We saw today a bit of development of Pari and Pratheik’s characters . Maybe the writers had major plans for the development of their subsidiary characters that were , really , coming too late to save PV . . I have seen worst characters , more evil than ishita , Barka from CB comes to mind , so does Savita from PR . , We can’t blame the Ishita plot completely either . . .
I really dislike the Mittals publicity stunts and blatant disregard for the feelings of their fans . They have left a bitter taste on our tongue and have made our hearts bleed too many times . They threw in romance but neglected to throw Ishita out . GC and KS are promoting PV 2 when that job really belongs to the new cast . However , we must remember that GC and KS accepted to do these promotions .
GC can move on to greener pastures . KS said that she will rest . Some of the PV actors already had alternative commitments , only the fans and a few cast menbers are left to mourn .
