Never a disappointment when you have good tasting doubles, once had to pick someone up from the airport, had to take them to mayaro so we passed through Grande, well that was the worst doubles I’ve ever eaten. The usual vendor was sold out.

You know what I think is awful Kris , the way they have that memorial seem revive every year , to rehash that experience in the minds of relatives and friends of the victims .
I heard the most ridiculous thing , the shirt that was worn by the soldier who shot and killed Osama , will be put on display at the mausoleum for 9/11 victims .
I wonder how they are so certain that they got the right person especially given that Bush was convinced that Sadam was harbouring weapons of mass destruction ??
Exactly Suni, they open the wounds of those hurt by that incident. And my husband from day one saying what I heard from other people as well, was it really Osama, who did it, there are so many theories coming out from that incident. It could have been a us conspiracy for all we know.
But the way the Middle East was celebrating the deaths and suffering of all those innocent people was horrifying, so it was easy for the masses to believe some jihadis group to be blamed. And the responsible party just went with the flow and lost in the crowd. That’s my theory.

Looking at QH, where the signing of the deed or property papers are being done.
It amazes me with these Indian shows to no end. I mean, I have been witness to hundreds of properties being transferred, businesses, done so many Power of Attorneys, sold land, witnessed and prepared so many hundreds of land transactions, deed of sale, deed of gift Memorandum of transfers etc, I mean maybe a few thousand, but these Indian shows are so unreal,
All. These transactions we’re conducted in a lawyer office with a lawyer and his clerk as witness. If the person cannot go to the office for signing, then a lawyer from the firm or the lawyer together with a witness or his clerk as witness would go to the place, whether it be the persons home, hospital or work place etc, to get the signing done. We have done signing many a time in our office without the lawyer present sometimes, it it was ok with the vendors or purchasers etc. sometimes we send it abroad to be signed before a Notary public. But never ever, taken home by a family member, without independent witnesses or witness to sign like in these Indian shows. It always amazes me and how they sign in the front sheet of the deed of transfer and no witnesses. I mean all deeds prepared so far has a sign place at the end of the document. Place for lawyer and the witness signs and place their address and occupation. Also that witness need to sign a declaration saying that he or she saw that person sign on the said deed and that in turn need to be signed by a commissioner of affidavits.
I really can’t understand this Indian legalities when it comes to transferring of properties etc.

How Poor Are We
One day a father and his rich family took his son to a trip to the country with the firm purpose to show him how poor people can be. They spent a day and a night in the farm of a very poor family. When they got back from their trip the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”
“Very good Dad!” replied his son.
“Did you see how poor people can be?” the father asked.
“Yeah!”
“And what did you learn”
The son answered, “I saw that we have a dog at home, and they have four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden; they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lamps in the garden; they have the stars. Our patio reaches to the front yard, they have a whole horizon.”
When the little boy was finishing, his father was speechless. His son added, “Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are!”
Our outlook on life depends on the way you look at things. What others may think as riches, others may want. The most important things in life are your friends, family, health, good humor and a positive attitude towards life. If you have these then you have everything!

I was sitting on a beach one summer day, watching two children, a boy and a girl, playing in the sand.
They were hard at work building an elaborate sandcastle by the water’s edge with gates and towers and moats and internal passages. Just when they had nearly finished their project, a big wave came along and knocked it down, reducing it to a heap of wet sand.
I expected the children to burst into tears, devastated by what had happened to all their hard work. But they surprised me. Instead, they ran up the shore away from the water, laughing and holding hands, and sat down to build another castle.
I realized that they had taught me an important lesson. All the things in our lives, all the complicated structures we spend so much time and energy creating, are built on sand.
Only our relationships to other people endure. Sooner or later, the wave will come along and knock down what we have worked so hard to build up. When that happens, only the person who has somebody’s hand to hold will be able to laugh.
One beautiful spring day a red rose blossomed in a forest. Many kinds of trees and plants grew there. As the rose looked around, a pine tree nearby said, “What a beautiful flower. I wish I was that lovely.” Another tree said, “Dear pine, do not be sad, we can not have everything.”
The rose turned its head and remarked, “It seems that I am the most beautiful plant in this forest.” A sunflower raised its yellow head and asked, “Why do you say that? In this forest there are many beautiful plants. You are just one of them.”
The red rose replied, “I see everyone looking at me and admiring me.” Then the rose looked at a cactus and said, “Look at that ugly plant full of thorns!” The pine tree said, “Red rose, what kind of talk is this? Who can say what beauty is you have thorns too.”
The proud red rose looked angrily at the pine and said, “I thought you had good taste! You do not know what beauty is at all. You can not compare my thorns to that of the cactus.”
What a proud flower, thought the trees.
The rose tried to move its roots away from the cactus, but it could not move. As the days passed, the red rose would look at the cactus and say insulting things, like “This plant is useless. How sorry I am to be his neighbor.”
The cactus never got upset and he even tried to advise the rose, saying, “God did not create any form of life without a purpose.”
Spring passed, and the weather became very warm. Life became difficult in the forest, as the plants and animals needed water and no rain fell. The red rose began to wilt. One day the rose saw sparrows stick their beaks into the cactus and then fly away, refreshed.
This was puzzling, and the red rose asked the pine tree what the birds were doing. The pine tree explained that “the birds got water from the cactus.” “Does it not hurt when they make holes?” asked the rose.
“Yes, but the cactus does not like to see any birds suffer,” replied the pine.
The rose opened its eyes in wonder and said, “The cactus has water.” “Yes you can also drink from it. The sparrow can bring water to you if you ask the cactus for help.”
The red rose felt too ashamed of its past words and behavior to ask for water from the cactus, but then it finally did ask the cactus for help. The cactus kindly agreed and the birds filled their beaks with water and watered the rose’s roots.
Thus the rose learned a lesson and never judged anyone by their appearance again.

Yesterday the hubby woke me up around 3am to see a lightning show over the ocean i think it has to be one of the most beautiful sights I’ve every seen.
Still haven’t been in the water,but I’m having a great time!

And doubles is like a sandwich, but made with two bara instead of bread with channa , curried together with sauces, with pepper in the middle. It is street food and very delicious and available almost everywhere

And my husband from day one saying what I heard from other people as well, was it really Osama, who did it, there are so many theories coming out from that incident. It could have been a us conspiracy for all we know.
But the way the Middle East was celebrating the deaths and suffering of all those innocent people was horrifying, so it was easy for the masses to believe some jihadis group to be blamed. And the responsible party just went with the flow and lost in the crowd. That’s my theory.

Looking at QH, where the signing of the deed or property papers are being done.
It amazes me with these Indian shows to no end. I mean, I have been witness to hundreds of properties being transferred, businesses, done so many Power of Attorneys, sold land, witnessed and prepared so many hundreds of land transactions, deed of sale, deed of gift Memorandum of transfers etc, I mean maybe a few thousand, but these Indian shows are so unreal,
All. These transactions we’re conducted in a lawyer office with a lawyer and his clerk as witness. If the person cannot go to the office for signing, then a lawyer from the firm or the lawyer together with a witness or his clerk as witness would go to the place, whether it be the persons home, hospital or work place etc, to get the signing done. We have done signing many a time in our office without the lawyer present sometimes, it it was ok with the vendors or purchasers etc. sometimes we send it abroad to be signed before a Notary public. But never ever, taken home by a family member, without independent witnesses or witness to sign like in these Indian shows. It always amazes me and how they sign in the front sheet of the deed of transfer and no witnesses. I mean all deeds prepared so far has a sign place at the end of the document. Place for lawyer and the witness signs and place their address and occupation. Also that witness need to sign a declaration saying that he or she saw that person sign on the said deed and that in turn need to be signed by a commissioner of affidavits.
I really can’t understand this Indian legalities when it comes to transferring of properties etc.

“Did you see how poor people can be?” the father asked.

The rose turned its head and remarked, “It seems that I am the most beautiful plant in this forest.” A sunflower raised its yellow head and asked, “Why do you say that? In this forest there are many beautiful plants. You are just one of them.”
The red rose replied, “I see everyone looking at me and admiring me.” Then the rose looked at a cactus and said, “Look at that ugly plant full of thorns!” The pine tree said, “Red rose, what kind of talk is this? Who can say what beauty is you have thorns too.”
The proud red rose looked angrily at the pine and said, “I thought you had good taste! You do not know what beauty is at all. You can not compare my thorns to that of the cactus.”
What a proud flower, thought the trees.
The rose tried to move its roots away from the cactus, but it could not move. As the days passed, the red rose would look at the cactus and say insulting things, like “This plant is useless. How sorry I am to be his neighbor.”
The cactus never got upset and he even tried to advise the rose, saying, “God did not create any form of life without a purpose.”
Spring passed, and the weather became very warm. Life became difficult in the forest, as the plants and animals needed water and no rain fell. The red rose began to wilt. One day the rose saw sparrows stick their beaks into the cactus and then fly away, refreshed.
This was puzzling, and the red rose asked the pine tree what the birds were doing. The pine tree explained that “the birds got water from the cactus.” “Does it not hurt when they make holes?” asked the rose.
“Yes, but the cactus does not like to see any birds suffer,” replied the pine.
The rose opened its eyes in wonder and said, “The cactus has water.” “Yes you can also drink from it. The sparrow can bring water to you if you ask the cactus for help.”
The red rose felt too ashamed of its past words and behavior to ask for water from the cactus, but then it finally did ask the cactus for help. The cactus kindly agreed and the birds filled their beaks with water and watered the rose’s roots.
Thus the rose learned a lesson and never judged anyone by their appearance again.

Yesterday the hubby woke me up around 3am to see a lightning show over the ocean i think it has to be one of the most beautiful sights I’ve every seen.
Still haven’t been in the water,but I’m having a great time!

Its pouring cats,dogs,and cows up here in sans souci, and the place cold. Sitting on the deck watching the hubby surf,he says the water warm. Crazy!
