Scene 1:
Location: Yash’s house
Evereyone is shocked including Arti. Pankaj comes in trying to ask the girl not to do this. Ishita’s father keeps instigating. the kids too come and ask her not to hit their dad, ansh says that it was due to him, therefore he should get shot. Yash hugs the kids nad says that he would have to get the punishemtn for his mistake. While he asks arti to take the kids aside, yash says that Ishita can do whatever she wants. ishita’s father too keeps instigating his child. Suraj tries to talk sense into the girl, saying that they would themselves hand over yash to the police and that she shouldnt take the law in her hands. the girl dramatically points the gun at herself that she is a burden on her parents since they try to marry her off to the first person they get, in lieu of dowry and money. she is about to shoot herself, despite yash telling her not to, but akash stops her midway holding her hand, while she keeps screaming at him for having saved her, since its of no existence to her now, as it would be very difficult for her to get married now. He takes her to the mandap, and plants vermillion on her head, saying that now she isnt alone. He asks the priest to start the marriage while also nudging the girl to commence with the ritual. the girls’ mother too asks her husband to not stop this marriage as its with great guts, that a member of this family has accepted a girl’s hand who is handicapped, while akash thinks he has killed to birds with one stone, thinking that on one hand, he got everyone’s praise and on the other, he got rich too by marrying the MLA’s daughter. Ishita’s father tells his wife that he should go and thank suraj for having preserved the respect of his daughter. but he is shocked when he finds that the person marrying Ishita isnt a member of scindia family, but just their driver. Suraj too harshly says that Akash will be given just punisment for this act. He starst beating him up for this and for trying to forget his own identity and considering himself to be part of scindia family. He is stopped by a lady, who asks her by what rightis he beating up her son. as suarj recognises the lady and knows that its her son, he says that seeing the evident situation, he wouldnt hesitate to say that he isnt to be blamed for this, since his mother too has this quality of coming in, at unwanted situations and seizing the benefit out of it. he accuses herv of being promiscuous and also raises a question mark on her child, akash, that it would surely be indefinite as to whose son is he. The lady asks him to stop as by defiling her and her son, he is defiling himself, since akash’s his son after all. This revelation shocks Suraj as well as the entire family.
Suraj points the gun at the lady and asks her how dare she to put this accusation on him. He tells her that he considers his reputation to be the first and foremost, and he would not let anyone play along with it. he says that she would get the punishment she deserves for the accusation that she has placed on him and that she would have to die. But akash seizes his gun and instead points it at her, while the whole scindia family is shocked. akash says that this is his mother, and that he may have been an honourable man, but he wont bear diosrespect to his mother. as prateik asks him to nput the gun down, akash says that he would put the gun down, once Suraj apologizes to his mother. Suraj says that he would die rather than say sorry. Akash says that then he isnt left with any option and is about to fire the gun, when his mother steps in saying that he wont let him be the murderer of his own father, howsoever vile he might be. Akash says that he cant forget the fact that suraj insulted her. She says that whatever may be t5he case, she wont have him killing suraj and therefore she asks him to put his gun down, and show that even the poor are capable of forgiving others and being a bigger person. Akash turns the gun down. Suarj however spews further venom and goes from there, while akash is controlled by his mother, not to aggravate the situation.
While akash turns to leave, ishita asks akash if he would leave his wife here in the mandap only while he goes off, her father tries to tell her not to do this since he cant have her marry off some poor, low caste driver. She says that she’s his wife now, and has taken the circles around fire with him, and that now she is his wife for ages to come. Her father is shocked to hear this. Her mother too tries to talk sense, but she snubbs them off saying that her respect and dignity is now connected with akash and she would live with him only. Akash leaves, with his mother and his wife, Ishita in tow, while her parents keep watching in helplessness. after they are gone, the guests too leave, while the scindia fmily is depressed. the screen freezes on gayatri’s tensed face.
Precap: Suraj keeps trying to convince gayatri that akash isnt his son and reprimands her for doubting the person, she’s married to for the past 38 years just because some random lady came up to claim that. Meanwhile akash tells his mother fiercely that Suraj would have to come up to accept him as his son.

There has to be some connection between Akash getting the key, SP hiring Akash and Mr. Dubey. I don’t know whether we will ever know all the connection in this plot now that new chapter is getting opened.

I know how you feel , that the quick resolution to this Kidnapping , doesn’t make sense . Enough loose ends to tie many possible suspects into the drama . But , what can we do really , but , let our complaints be heard through this forum ? I remain hopeful that they have plans to integrate those loose ends into their future plot . However I will never hold my breath …to this day the bangle issue that greatly irritated our SJ hasn’t been resolved and it seems that it never will be .Sj commented on yesterday’s forum that the writers lose a certain integrity when they expect us to always accept the non detailed implementation of their ideas . Not in such words , but in her own excellent style . And Afreesh explained in a humorous way how Ansh got accustomed to being kidnapped and therefore was just happy to return home . Check it Shla , Afreesh made me laugh so hard with her explaination when I asked pretty much the same question as you , about Ansh .
Any how , Shla , I must say goodnight : ) . I’m not sure of your time but by me it is almost 11 p:m .

February 07, 16:22Today’s episode was very suspenseful. I feel very sad to say that I don’t like where the storyline is going. First of all, Suraj having an illegitimate child. That is very terrible. I can’t believe where the writers took Suraj’s character. Suraj used to be a wise, righteous man and they slowly made his character bad. Now he has a son that isn’t with Gayatri? That is so terrible. At least I think that he has an illegitimate son, we don’t know if this is a sceme by Dolly to try to disgrace the family. If Aakaush can do something as bad as carrying out the dirty work of Dubey, then why can’t his mom try to do something like this? Maybe Suraj really is innocent, but the way he acted when Dolly said that Aakaush is Suraj’s blood, so defensive, so mad, that led me to think that he is hiding something. That may not be that he has an illegitimate son, it could be something else where she is blackmailing him or something. We never know with Punar Vivah. It was very convenient that Aakaush’s mom was at the wedding, that is so weird. You don’t do that normally. Aakaush was someone I thought was noble, but I was wrong. He was very bad to try to marry Ishita, so what if he was a driver, but still, he is still the carefree criminal who doesn’t do anything. I feel terrible for Ishita, she tried to shoot herself because she can’t find a husband, at least that is better than Buaji. Anyway, Aakaush stopped her, but for bad reasons. Yash and Aarti surprised me today, they didn’t speak up against Suraj hitting Aakaush, but I guess they were too stunned. I wonder how Gayatri is taking Suraj and that mysstery. Very strange. Punar Vivah is a beautiful show. I really appreciate how they bring old songs into the show and make them known. I am not really getting the storyline, but I trust the writers to incorporate some righteousness into it. They are very good at making twists that produce an outcome that please it’s writers. But, at least now Aarti and Yash are together. The romance is probably going to bloom now that they have more confidence in their love and feel that it is true and doesn’t have any flaws. Great job writers, but I suggest you should speed up the storyline to make it make more sense. Rimjhim, thank you for the quick and efficient written updates and links, you are amazing. Anyway, overall, very interesting episode.

2) Accusation number 2–> she’s immoral (Papa S words)…is she a whore? Maybe on the 3 days before his wedding to Gayatri he hooked up with her. And as a result she got pregnant. Maybe he felt shame at his youthful days who knows.
3) Buaji knows something dammit she must know
4) Accusation 4: Could it be that he caught her with someone closed to him and lets just say a sugni-vickram-adi situation for ppl who watched phir subah hogi (on strike due to the high rate of stupidity)
5)Dolly is a great schemer. She could have drugged Suraj yes DATE RAPE poor Suraj for her own reasons. Heck she could have been his secretray and on one fateful drunk night while Gayatri was at home pregnant with yash they did the DO. Why not profit from a powerful man

February 07, 19:17Hi Punar Vivah , I fully understand your views and concerns . I was also quite perturbed when they began to show the irrational rather than practical side of Papa S . For me it started with his domineering approach to Aarti’s situation as it related to her being a divorcee . I think at that point the Papa S I knew and respected , because of his general objectivity to most situations , and his desire for family unity , had truly begun to change . I knew that he had a stubborn streak , but before that instance , he was at least not beyond logics reach .
I was appalled by his alliance with Prashant, and , the way he attempted to disinherit Yash . This seemed as a direct contradiction to the Papa S we knew as a kind and caring father .
The one thing of great interest to me is the fact that the writers have created a union of misfits . These two characters , Akash and Ishita , are both in a way , social outcasts . Not the type to find love easily . Akash with his unknown past and illegitimacy and Ishita with her handicap . They have gravitated to each other in a way . I will even extend it to say , in a similar way to Yash and Aarti , who always found comfort in each other , because they understood each others loneliness and always hated being apart . Maybe their’s might be a similar type love , where they appreciate each others differences and what society might consider their flaws . They were both introduced as grey characters from there description . Akash is a very interesting and ambiguous character very much like his dad’s current avatar ; deep and complex , many layers to understand . Time will tell if he plays for the good guys or the bad guys team .

The DNA test would be something to look forward to, Miss Kriss, I wouldn’t want them to exchange babies because Gayatri is such a good mother, but that was a very creative suggestion. I think that it would be pretty terrible if Suraj did something like getting someone pregnant before marriage, but his character has gotten so out of control lately, I am starting to wonder if it is a possibility. Shla, I am looking forward to seeing your views. And Suni, I haven’t seen you on the forum for so long. It feels good to read your intelligent and detailed comments. I was assuming that Aakaush was bad, but after reading your comment, I realized that we don’t know yet, and yes, only time will tell. Another important matter is the romance between Yash and Aarti, I wish for it to shoot upward now that they are together and their love passed the test.

PV if I can extend a bit, for me it was interesting to see Pappa S did not allow Maya buaji to marry thus letting her remain widow while his son Yash was able to marry (remember he had said if he wants he would hire Nanny for Yash’s kids so kids were not the reason). I know some will argue that in India that is the norm. But same Pappa S. had no problem another widow to marry his son. So was he selfish by nature to get his son married or there is a double standard?
He also said that when Aarti delivers Yash baby, he will bring the baby home and no one can stop him? Does that mean he thinks he is above the law? In India mother has custody by default if the kid is less than 5 years.
I know now I hate Mr. Dubey more than Pappa S. for what Dubey did to Ansh and Aarti, but it was Pappa S who seeded the idea in the first place. He was the mastermind behind everything that happened and never felt sorry for it? Of course others sacrificed for him. Were Prashant and Mr. Dubey were pawns in his big chess game? Also PV writers have conveniently forgot about it and this time he came unscathed from the incident, similar to the incident when Aarti paid (the previous divorce drama) for his mistake where Yash was hurt due to his recklessness (he sent cops). And similar to when he lied to Yash and forced the divorce paper to Aarti and remember he played mental game with Aarti at park.
I know I got some criticism here, when I said Pappa S was wrong to take food (jilabee) from Ansh’s mouth. But come on when your son’s kid comes and ask for food you refuse? Even a stranger when they see a 5 year old kid begging for food in the street the stranger will feed the kid.
So I thought his character was always tainted as he was projected unyielding and blinded from righteous especially when he is angry. I agree with you though that Chetan Pandit played his character very well with all the correct emotions when required to create the character.

February 07, 21:42I don’t know writer/director will do that. It will be nice though if they do it. I think that’s why writer/director had that sequence where Pallak puts sindoor on Aarti’s forehead and red duppata on her head just before Mr. Dubey was caught. Also, once Yash caught the culprit as he expected to, he threw away all garland and pagadi onto the ground. That’s probably may be writer’s way of showing they are married again.

February 07, 14:19Hi everyone, someone was saying that it will be revealed that Yash is not g3 son , then whose, Dolly’s?
I think Dolly wantd SS but could not get him, got pregnant, with lord and she alone knows who child at the same time G3 was pregnant, after the birth of their respective sons, Dolly exchanges the children, leaving hers with G3 and taking G3 son with the expectation of getting the right opportunity to cash in on the Scindia’s fortune later down the road.
She now raises G3 and Suraj son as her own with lots of love and care so that he loves her to no end, so that when the truth is revealed, he will get his rights and of course he will not kick her out, also her own son being Yash, so she’s in a win win situation.
The opportunity presented itself and wham, she’s in, eureka, she hit jackpot.
This will be so interesting, you know I saw an Indian movie like this once, don’t know the name though.
And what’s this with everyone and guns? It’s like the wild Wild West man.

It only human nature, you know comment, criticize and make our own suggestions, complain but still hooked on a good story line after all even if it don’t go our way.

February 07, 15:43Na, don’t take these serials personal anyway, just like looking at the videos and reading the updates and commenting as a stress reliever from the monotone day to day stress with household duties my dear. So I don’t take the stress of the show. And I like interacting with people who have similar interests, it’s a great way to get my mind away from the stress of the real world, don’t know if it works, because I’m also involved in trying to save the environment, nature, wildlife, forests, etc.

I offered for the girl to shoot herself and she could have done it for her stupidity and not being a burden. So both families were deceiving each other in my book. I mean if Ishta’s dad is that crazy and with her handicapp state getting pity and manipulating it to her own benefit seems logical to me.
And what Akash got was a bad bargain as Ishta’s parents wont support him and if ansh sang like a bird he is totally going to jail.
Not only this i kept on doubting that Papa S knew that akash was his son. I feel like both are just there to confuse the family and collect wealth. What I strongly felt is that Suraj had relations with this woman before he married Gayatri therefore Akash would be his eldest son and not Pankaj. He was probably betrothed to Dolly and had sex before he found some betrayal. His parents probably convinced him to marry Gayatri as someone of thier own status and values. I can see that coming from his pasts and thats why he hates lies of all sorts. the way how he punished Arya could strongly be related to this. It was only Gayatris pleadings and concern for his grandchildren other than his reputation that made Arya stay within the same house.
In order to accept this situation we will be seeing our super couple (ARYA) doing some damage control. I know for sure that Suraj wont ever let Akash step into his house and as far as I can see maybe Ishta’s dad will support Akash in order for Ishta to be fully accepted in her sasural. Like I said Ishta’s Papa is crazy so it runs through to Ishta’s character.
And I strongly believe that for the first time ever Bua will shut her trap and help Arya and Gayatri to get rid of Dolly compeltely as I can see her using full force tit-for-tat against Bua and teh entire house. I can see that happening even as Ishta will step in the home and probably be strongly manipualted by her husband and MIL to go against the entire house.
So this is going to be a bumpy ride folks for a good couple of weeks.
P.S. Papa S please ensure that your will is untampered and has Yash Pankaj and Prateik as your only children to claim all property.

I think PV has gotten the jolt of energy it long needed . Some drama besides kid kidnappings and evil exes . This is an excellent way to move the plot forward . There are so many knots to untie . So many unloved mysteries . Like Swapna asked , where was this Dolly for the past 30 odd years ???
Yash is also 30 or 31 by now . I doubt that Akash would be older than Pankraj .

Remember she said Akash is his blood and I do not know how Akash’s mother can concieved a son unless SP was sperm donor.

Uncertain times ahead if their leader and mentor is brought into disrepute . Who will succeed him ? Will he ever admit his errors ? What if he is really being framed ? The 3 sons may have to decide between their loyalty to their father and justice for their half brother .

I realized that I wasn’t in control of the situation for a while and it had begun to control me instead . It had gotten to a point that I couldn’t even read the update and comments as I wianted to . So I said enough . I am in control and Afreesh ( bless herkind heart ) always helps me gain strength , just by her presence and guiding words that I never forget .. And hearing from everyone here , who share a common purpose in loving Pv , relaxes me .
Yes I fully agree . Aarti should have defended her guy with her own life . But I am happy in a way that she remained calm and trusted Yash . It took a long time for her to calm down and relinquish control to Yash as her husband and I believe that from the Ansh kidnapping incident she has emerged as a better wife and mother . Hopefully they maintain the romance .
If Papa S did those awful things , he has quite a punishment coming his way .
