Pregnant Kanika enjoying all the ‘pampering’ on the sets of Diya Aur Baati

With the stork all set to visit the lovely Kanika Maheshwari, the beautiful lady is glowing more these days with happiness. And making her all the more comfortable and pampered are her costars from the show Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus).

Shares the girl, “I am simply loving all the attention and care I have been showered upon. The family for sure is looking after me, but I am overwhelmed by the love my costars are giving me. They look after all my needs and make it a point to help me with everything. It is a different experience altogether and I having a great time for sure.”

When asked whether she plans to take a break anytime soon, Kanika quips, “I have been working for 12 years now and although it gets hectic sometimes I can never imagine myself sitting at home doing nothing. Today’s girls I think are customized to enjoy work and I love it. The time of Griha Shobha women is gone; we are now Femina girls (laughs).”

Also her husband Ankur (Ghai) will soon be seen in Tum Aise Hi Rehna, making them ‘time slot competitors’. Ask her that and the wife responds, “Although Ankur keeps on telling me that DABH will give his show competition, but I believe all shows have their own charm and life. If the show has to do good, no matter what it will surely do good. I wish him all the best.”
