Pratigya 7th August 2012 Written Update

TN : GD escorts Krtk out of Chinki’s room, thanks him.. both reach TN hall… SS & other Thakurs in hall… SS tells Krtk to sit down and tells Pys to get tea.. asks him what he does, whats his name, etc.. Krthk tells that he is a Prof and tells them his name… (caste name blocked out)… all Thakurs stunned.. SS orders Pys to get tea in porcelain cup… P tries to protest but K stops her… Pys gets tea, Krtk refuses, leaves… SS expresses his displeasure at Chinki mingling with a man of low caste.. just then Chinki comes running out of room, yelling Krtk’s name, wants him to come back.. Kml, P, Ksr all try to mollify her but no avail.. Chinki is adamant wants to see Krtk.. SS annoyed scolds her and tells her to go to her room.. says henceforth Krtk will not be seen in TN.. Chinki throws tantrum, tells everyone that Krtk is going to be her papa… all stunned.. SS raises his hand to hit chinki, but avoids hitting… Chinki starts crying..
Kml takes Chinki inside, but SS stops her and tells Pys to take her.. SS asks Kml what the heck is going on… Kml denies her involvement and says Krtk frequently comes to meet Prof for some work and Chinki has taken a liking to him… tells SS that I have not encouraged this in any way… SS now angry on prof… calls Prof on phone and tells him to come to TN right away.. prof says he has some urgent work, and will come tomm, but SS insists.. Prof perturbed..

KP room : P tense, wants K to talk to SS and tell him not to call prof late at night… tells him that SS is in a bad temper and may say harsh words to Prof… K reluctant, but on P’s request he agrees to talk to SS, but warns that his talk may not be fruitful, since SS is in very bad mood…

GH : Dadi asking prof where he is going so late… prof explains that SS wants to talk to him about something.. Dadi worried.. Prof tells her not to worry, he will handle it.. . Args wants to go with Prof but he refuses..

TN : K talking to SS and trying to pacify him.. tells SS that you go to your room and take rest, your convo with Prof can be done in the morning.. SS scolds K saying that a low caste man is frequently visiting my daughter’s house.. and you taking it so lightly…

Just then prof enters TN… SS asks Prof what is going on in your house.. I let my daughter marry Adr, outside my caste, and look what happened… my daughter is now a widow… and now you are trying to marry her off to someone who is of low caste.. Prof denies and tells SS that Krtk is helping them to recover Adr’s PF money and chinki has become fond of him… SS tells Prof that its OK if Krtk comes to your house on business, but why did you allow him to mingle to such an extent that Chinki is imagining him as her papa.. it has to stop.. my granddaughter will not be allowed to mingle with a person of low caste..Prof should not cross the limits of society.. all perturbed…

Prof defends and says he does not believe in caste divisions.. says all human beings are one… GD interrupts him and tells him, you may not believe in caste, but we do… Prof tells SS that chinki is missing Adr very much.. whats the harm if she plays and enjoys with Krtk… SS adamant ..asks prof whether there is a shortage of love in prof’s house.. why should chinki go begging for love from outsiders… he warns Prof not to cross the line.. and pay heed to his words.. prof leaves… P looking perturbed…
