Pratigya 26th July 2012 Written Update

Insurance office : Kml barges into Insurance office, blasting all the inmates at the top of her voice… giving gaalis to all… wants Adr’s Insurance money… tells them that they have been making her run around for three months to get her own money… Manager asks what’s yr husband’s name, she tells him .. he says no such application with us… more gaalis from Kml… one of the Insurance staff looks very impressed with Kml.. gazing at her entranced… he turns out to be yet another one of Prof’s students.. he tells Kml and Prof that he will help them out..

TN : All Thakurs in hall except P.. SS appreciating the peace and quiet.. Ksr feeding Smr… Smr chucks peanuts at KN and K’s mouths but misses… SS then teachs him how to do it.. all smiling…

Just then Lochan comes into TN lamenting loudly that his wife has left him… GD tells the entire story to SS.. Lochan continues his nautanki and blames Pys… Prats and Pys come into hall.. Prats tells SS that L’s story is a lie.. he hit Pys bec she wouldn’t give him money.. Pys too tells the same thing to SS.. Huge ruckus… L & Pys quarelling and P refusing to let Pys go back with Lochan…

SS holds his head and tells K to take P inside their room.. P refuses to go, says Pys should not be sent back with her husband.. K tries to calm P down and takes her away to their room.. SS and others take no notice of Pys pleas… they sent Pys back with Lochan… L drags her away, with Pys crying & shaking in fear..

KP room : P and K having argument… K tells P not to interfere in personal matter bet husb and wife… P disagrees … tells K why did you interfere bet Kml and Adarsh when he beat her up… Pys too is like a member of this family… she needs our help… K looks shocked and saddened at P’s words.. tells her my entire life, I will regret interfering bet Kml and Adr… my interference caused such terrible consequences.. he further says that even though Adr hit Kml, she still loved him and went back to GH.. shed tears when he died… tells P that just bec Lochan hit Pys it does not mean that one day they will not make up with each other… But P counters and says that Pys does not want to go back to her husband.. .. he hit her badly and will do more, if no one speaks up… he might even kill her.. Pys is in danger and as a member of TN, she deserves our support, tells K that she will support Pys no matter what … K looking grim and thoughtful…

TN Hall : P goes back to hall to find that Pys has been sent back with Lochan.. she’s aghast.. asks KN, Ksr and GD, how they could allow such a thing… Ksr berates her and tells P that she should not think that she is always right and others are wrong.. P reminds Ksr of her own prasadi days and says that atleast you should be sympathetic towards Pys… Ksr more angry.. says why you are comparing me with Pys.. she is just a servant.. KN too berates P… asks her that if K one day loses his temper and hits her will she go and lodge police complaint… P agrees and says not only I but all women who face dometic violence should complain to Police.. K standing behind P and listening to convo.. looks grim..

KN points out to K and says that see.. P was always against this family.. some day your wife will lodge a complaint against you .. K tells KN to shut up.. supports P and says P knows what is right and always does what is right.. GD tells everyone to calm down and go sleep as it is very late…
