Jail Scene
Continues from the Maha Episode where P shows Tam the key chain which killed Adarsh..P challenges Tam that soon they will see who will cry and who will laugh..Tam refuses to be prey to any games P is up to and tells P that she can do what she likes but it will only be him who will laugh..P tells Tam that he will have to answer tomorrow in court as to why he killed Adarsh..P and Arushi leave and Tam looks worried..
Temple Scene
The Takurs are at the temple seeking blessing from God..P prayers that today at court the truth will prevail and that her K will return home as a free man…GD to seeks blessings from God that to build the bridges between the 2 families..Prof, Dadi and Komal arrive at the temple..GD again tells Prof that K is innocent and that he would never kill Adarsh like that..Prof continues to be confused as to who the real killer is..He claims to be the biggest loser as he has not only lost a son but will also lose a SIL…Prof tells GD that he does not know who to believe and for that reason they have come to the temple to seek guidance..Dadi gives her son some morale support…
Court Case
Pathologist as Witness
Kaushal starts to prove that K is not the killer but Tam is..He tells the court that the pathology officer was arrested by police when they found him in possession of jewelry..The doc is brought to the witness stand..Kaushal reminds the court that this is the same pathologist who gave the wrong report of K’s blood matching Adarsh’s shirt before it was proved that K’s blood did not match Adarsh’s shirt..He further reminds the court that this is the same doc who provided a false report to show that Tam blood does not match Adarsh’s shirt…Kaushal reveals that jewelry found in possession of the doc belonged to Komal which the Prof made a police complaint…Kaushal shows the court the jewelry..Komal in shock…ASY objects to the line of questioning as he believes it has no relevance to the case..Kaushal disagrees as in cross examination the pathologist speaks against Tam and tells the court that Tam bribed him with the jewelry in exchange of providing a false report in court..Tam objects to it and blames KN for buying the witness…ASY too objects saying that the witness is not a reliable as he is corrupted…Judge agrees to ASY argument but tells the court to get Tam’s blood tested.. The clever Kaushal provides the blood report and states that the blood from Tam matches that of Adarsh’s shirt…First seeds of doubt has been planted that Tam is the killer…
Key Chain as a Key witness
Kaushal moves on to the murder weapon…He tells the court that the murder weapon is none other than the key chain which he continues to show in court…ASY seems to believe that a key chain can not kill anyone…Kaushal requests the judge if he is allowed to do a small demonstration with the help of 2 police officers…He shows the power of how the key chain can leave a mark even on the hand…He tells the court that this type of mark was similar to that found on Adarsh’s neck…Kaushal gives a gruesome picture of how Adarsh was killed by Tam…ASY gets irritated by the drama Kaushal is providing and tells that the real killer would destroy such an important piece of evidence…Kaushal objects and tells ASY and the court that this is the murder weapon as Tam never leaves home with it…He tells the court that his wife can testify that as a fact…Arushi is recalled to the witness stand and she affirms that this key chain is that of Tam…Tam scolds Arushi of betrayal and insults her in court..Kaushal tells the court that Tam was the one who framed K..He strangled Adarsh and put a rod in Adarsh as he knew that K would go to the rod to help Adarsh…He reiterates that the key chain is not his and that the killer is K and not him… Tam pleads with the judge that he did not kill Adarsh and that this key chain is not his as the real key chain he burnt after Adarsh was killed…Tam realises what he has done that he has admitted in court that he killed Adarsh…All the key players look on in shock and despair…
