Pratigya 24th October 2012 Written Update

WRITTEN UPDATE
TN Hall : All Thakurs sitting in hall.. K sitting beside amma, says its great that you are back home.. all smiling… KN comes out of room and tells K that there’s a good movie at the theatre.. K says lets go.. Ksr butts in and says she wants to go too.. K tells P, lets all go.. Ksr suddenly remembers that there’s work to be done… tells them you all go… Amma tells Ksr not to worry, she will do the cooking.. P then says we will not take Smr as the movie is not meant for kids… Amma tells her not to worry she will take care of Smr as well… GD has doubts that amma can manage all this since Pys also gone to her village, but Amma tells them not to worry, she will do it.. both couples leave..
Car : All four going in car.. Ksr says feeling bad sticking amma with all the work.. P tells her we planned this to give Amma & SS some time together.. when SS sees amma doing all the work, maybe he will feel sympathy for her.. afterall amma is his wife, mother of his children.. maybe he will relent…
TN : Amma busy with work, giving GD tea, milk to Smr… just then Kml and Krthk turn up.. amma happy to see them.. chinki does not come as she has exams… Kml asks amma why you doing all this work.. where’s everyone.. amma explains… just then SS comes up on the balcony overlooking the hall… asks for tea, calls P and Ksr… GD says both gone out.. SS annoyed… GD scolds SS and says there is no one here … if you don’t want amma bringing your tea, you can get it yourself.. Amma takes tea upto him.. SS rages at her and says I told you not to come in front of me and not to show yr face to me… he drops the tea down to the ground… amma looks sad.. Kml angry says why you behaving like this with amma, when she just returned home… SS tells her you did what you liked and married Krthk, now don’t question me when I do what I want to do… Kml silenced… SS continues and says amma stayed with another man all this time, cannot accept her as my wife.. Kml & Krthk stunned..
Car : K, P, Ksr & KN returning from movie… K says its true what they showed in the movie.. nowadays kids treat their parents very badly.. KN tells him to stop the discussion as he is already feeling bad about ill-treating amma… Ksr wonders if their plan worked .. P suggests that they should stay out some more time, to give more time to Amma and SS.. all agree..
TN : Late evening, Kml wonders where the foursome are… tells amma they should have been back by now.. calls up P and scolds her… P tries to defend.. K takes the phone and tells Kml that amma’s quite capable of doing the work for one day… tells Kml to help amma … Kml annoyed.. she and Krthk leave.. Amma tells Smr to go and sleep… SS comes down for dinner… Amma says that she will serve him.. but SS refuses and says he will get his own food.. goes in and comes out holding his food laden plate…
Just then all four return.. Amma happy to see them back.. tells them to come and sit down for dinner.. K refuses says that they already ate outside.. Ksr goes off to her room with Smr.. P does likewise saying that she is tired and wants to rest… GD perturbed, tells K that if you ppl ate outside, you should have called and informed amma, she would not have cooked so much food.. K says its no big deal, just put it in the fridge and we will eat it in the morning.. GD says who will clean the kitchen… K says amma will do it, she has been taking care of Pandit’s house all this time, will do it here as well.. Amma tells them to atleast have kheer.. both K and KN refuse saying that they are too full, walk off .. Amma looks sad… SS watching all this nautanki…
TN : Late night, amma’s room electricity suddenly goes off… its KN.. he’s removed the fuse.. both KN and K peeping out from their rooms to see what amma will do.. she comes out.. both go in and close the doors.. sit on their respective beds with their wives beside them… amma knocks & calls out to each of them… both couples inside silent, don’t reply… amma then goes out in the hall calling for the servant.. SS comes out on balcony and rages at her.. she says no electricity in my room, asks SS to take a look… SS angry, scolds her and tells her to sleep outside or on the terrace if she is feeling hot.. tells her to stop making a racket … walks off… amma sad..
