Pratigya 13th May 2011 Written Update

The Doctor comes , pokes her and there , enquires the regions of pain ..concludes that Krishna has got food poison ** Yeh tho hum bhi bathadethe , woh bhi muft main ** The doc suggests some medicines and advises light food for few days ..Pratigya goes out with the Doctor to send him on his way …and In the Bedroom all hell breaks loose.. Amma puts on her Angel Mask , slowly begins to manipulate the pawns, accusses her self for preparing the Bhatti chaukka and laments aloud as to why she told Pratigya to mix the pickles in the chaukka ** when did u tell, U cunning lady, u mixed it ur self **..Kesmma who has been reduced to a prop stage from past one week finally breaks the silence ..to egg Amma , Kesmma tries to turn Amma against Pratigya ** Little does she know that Amma loathes Pratigya and all this is pretend ** ..The excited Sajjan Singh lauds kesmma for her astuteness , Sajjan singh reiterates that Pratigya is doing all this purposefully to give Amma a bad name cos Pratigya is jealous of Amma …Ghanti Dadi tells him to Shut up and reminds him that Pratigya would never do that but Sajjan Singh retort s that he knows what he is saying ..and he is speaking after seeing Pratigya’s behavior, Krishna jumps in to defend his wife ..An incensed Sajjan Singh taunts him for being a Wife’s foot soldier ad informs everyone that he is leaving the room since his views are not welcome … Amma moves closer to Krishna , appeals to him to not to take Sajjan Singhs words to heart , declares that she will get some soothing herbal concoction..Krishna replies that he too will join her , lays the bedsheet covers aside ..and staggers after his Amma.

Amma quickly comes into the kitchen, pulls the moldy pickles from the dark dungeon i.e; the cupboard,places it near the stove where it will be bound to get noticed and begins to prepare the concoction…

Krishna is tottering towards the kitchen when he sees his elder brother Shakhti sitting in the darkness..Krishna wishes to know the reason but Shakthi lovingly tells him to stop eating his brain, A hurt Krishna merely states that he just wanted to know the reason and if Shakhti so wishes he can sleep,loll, roll on the Sofa..after this brotherly exchange of love , Krishna reels towards the Kitchen where Amma i waiting for him… Amma calls out to Krishna saying that the herbal drink is ready.. Krishna walks in and takes the glass and begins to drink..when Amma’s eyes appears to alight on the pickle jar, A curious Amma wonders what is in the jar and how it came to be there ** A Kaali Billi came and placed it there ** ..A puzzled and Innocent Amma opens the lid of the pickle, sniff the content and immediately her face turns green , Amma exclaims that the Pickle has become rancid and is giving out a horrible odour …The slow Brain of Amma begins to piece together the puzzle , Amma begins thinking aloud to help out the clogged brain of Krishna, Amma speculates that may be Pratigya unknowingly added the pickles when Amma asked Pratigya to mix up the pickle with the Chaukka , ** Miss Marple and Modesty blaise would have been proud of her ** Krishna takes the jar and smells it , makes a face ..immediately decides on asking Pratigya on her carelessness but is stopped by Amma who gently points out that Pratigya might have been busy and might not have paid due attention to the jar and that she was the first person who worked veryy hard to bring the Dhaba up adn If krishna were to question her..Pratigya would hurt..Amma orders Krishna never to interrogate Pratigya about this ..

Krishna goes into the Bedroom and is quite agitated ..Pratigya walks in ** Madame when u said u will walk him off the premises did u mean ur house or the boundary of allahabad ** Pratigya sits quite close to Krishna and enquires concernedly whether Krishna is still hurting , Krishna gets up and walks away from her says that he is not worried about his pain but is rather relived that he ate that tainted Baati Chaukka , had any customers eaten it and fallen ill then the Dhaba would have to pay a hefty price..Krishna is puzzled by the speed at which Baati chaukka got spoilt..Pratigya tells him not to lose sleep over this, speculates that may be Baati Chaukka was spoilt due to the hot weather ..Krishna is looking straight at her, as if trying to read her soul ,Unaware of the diabolical plan, The Innocent Pratigya is trying to succor a doubting Krishna ,she continues her verbal ministration saying that no one should eat such food ** Oh !! Dear..Pratigya ..stop it Honey..each and every words of ur’s will have twisted meaning in Krishna’s ears **..Pratigya finishes off her talk , tells him to take rest..But Krishna refuses saying that this is no minor matter, looks at her without looking at her and veiledly enquires whether the Baati chaukka got spoilt due to the hot weather or …Unable to look her in the eye , he moves away from her..leaving a puzzled Pratigya looking after him ..
