Scene 1

Ashok comes to Kaurwaki’s room but sees her leaving the house through the window. He thinks how dare her try to run away. Kaurwaki looks at him and takes a horse to run away. The flashback shows how Dharma talked to Kaurwaki and told her to be happy. Kaurwaki says I never wanted to marry Ashok, this is a punishment for me. Dharma says then leave Ashok before it becomes a cage for you. Just remember that this society doesn’t respect the woman who ran away from her marriage, you would have no standing in this society. Kaurwaki says I can’t be with Ashok in this marriage. The flashback ends. Kaurwaki says Dharma gave me a chance to leave that evil Ashok.

Kaurwaki is trying to ride the horse but the horse is not listening to her. Ashok arrives there and stops her. He drags her back to the house. Kaurwaki says what are you doing? Ashok says I am your husband, let’s have a marriage night. He brings her to a tent and says you can’t run away from here, we are in the middle of the jungle. he pulls her closer. Devi comes to the jungle and finds the tent. She sees their shadows and thinks they are romancing. She says I am crazy about Ashok, she angrily leaves. Ashok doesn’t touch Kaurwaki and says people are watching us from the outside so we have to pretend. I would never want to touch you but we have to pretend. He pulls her closer and acts like kissing her. Kaurwaki pushes him away and says you are so shameless. Ashok says we are married so I have rights on you but I am not like your brother, think about what my sister went through when your brother tried to molest her. He leaves from there.

Ashok tells Hemant if they caught the person he asked for? He says yes.

Scene 2

Ashok comes to Devi and finds her holding a dagger. She says I will kill myself as I am your wife but you spent the night with someone else. Ashok says I thought you were smart but you are not. You really think I would touch that Kaurwaki? I hate her. Devi says then why did you go to her? Ashok says she was trying to run away and I had to stop her. I would never let her go so easily. She is my prey and I will make her pay for everything that my mother had to through because of her, he leaves. Devi smirks and says he is crazy in hating her but I am crazy in love with him.

Ashok comes home and tells Dharma that she shouldn’t have helped Kaurwaki. Dharma says you are doing what you hated about your father, you are doing injustice with Kaurwaki like your father did with me. You are making her pay for her brother’s crimes? Ashok says yes, Kaurwaki made you lose your honor that day, she is the reason behind your pain, I will make her pay for this.

Kaurwaki comes to Anandi’s room and sees her scared. Kaurwaki says I know you are still scared because of my brother, I am going to help you. I am ashamed of my brother. Anandi says don’t berate yourself, I think Ashok needed a girl like you. He has a heart of gold. Kaurwaki says we were both wrong about brothers.

Kaurwaki comes to Ashok and tells him that he can’t control her. She hears him talking about Kaling.

Ashok comes to Devi and sees her dressed up. She smirks at him and calls him to her room. She throws him on the bed.

Kaurwaki is angry, Dharma comes to her and says you both hate each other so much that you can’t see the purity of this relationship. Kaurwaki says there is nothing pure about it.

Ashok smiles at Devi and says what are you doing? Devi says we are married so we should become one now. They both go to bed.

In the morning, Ashok is awake while Devi is sleeping in his arms. Devi wakes up and asks what happened? Ashok says I have to get honor back to my mother. Devi says calm down, Ashok says no.

Ashok goes to look around for Kaurwaki.
