Scene 1

Kaurwaki tells Ashok that she won’t marry him. The priest says you are already married to him, he applied sindoor to you and put a mangalsutra on so you have to complete pheras now. Ashok tells Sushim to complete his wedding too. Sushim says no, I won’t marry this servant. Ashok says why? you gave a big speech about women’s respect so are you playing with her honor now? He asks Helena so she says Ashok is right, you promised to protect women so you have to fulfil it, go and marry that woman, you can’t play with her honor.

Sushim is shocked hearing that. Helena tells him to complete pheras. Bindusar says I know one of my son would never do anything wrong and play with someone’s life.
Ashok brings Devi and Kaurwaki to the mandap. He starts taking pheras with them by grabbing Kaurwaki’s hand and forcing her. Sushim takes pheras with the servant. The wedding is done.
Devi’s father tells Ashok to give love to Devi and protect her always, Ashok nods. Kaurwaki sees a fire torch about to fall on Devi so she pushes her away and she falls down, all look on. The torch falls on Kaurwaki and her dress catches fire. Ashok pulls her away and covers her with a dupatta. He says you like to play with fire but can’t stop it. Kaurwaki says don’t ever force me like this, don’t save me using your force again. Devi offers Ashok her hand and he holds it to get up. He tells her that Kaurwaki saved you so I saved her so we are even. Devi says she saved my life. Ashok says Kaurwaki didn’t do any favor on you, she is part of the family now. Lets go now, he takes Devi from there, Kaurwaki goes with them.

Anandi asks Dharma why is she sad? Ashok is bringing two brides home. Dharma says he forced Kaurwaki to marry him. Ashok arrives there with Devi and Kaurwaki. Anandi compliments Devi and Ashok as a couple. Dharma does their aarti while Kaurwaki stands behind. Dharma tells Ashok that she will do Kaurwaki’s aarti as she is his bride too. Ashok says don’t worry, I won’t forget her and won’t let her forget me. He pulls her to the front and Dharma does their aarti. Dharma tells Ashok that what he did was wrong with Kaurwaki but she is his wife so he has to give her all the rights and keep her happy. Ashok says I am sorry but I can’t do that, I can’t forget that she made you cry and took away your honour. Dharma says enough, I don’t want any more fights. She asks Devi and Kaurwaki to enter the house with their garh parvesh. Ashok says Devi will enter the house first. Kaurwaki sees an eagle about to hit Devi so she pushes her away and mistakenly kicks her Kalash while entering the house. All look on. Ashok says what is this? why did you push Devi away? the eagle was welcoming her, its my pet. Dharma says calm down, she was just protecting Devi and didn’t know it was your pet. She brings another kalash for Devi. Ashok enters the house with Devi.

Scene 2
Dharma tells Devi and Kaurwaki that I know you both lived in palaces but this is our humble home. You both got married to Ashok so this might be fate and a new start in your lives. You both will have peace here. Ashok asks the priest about a ritual where wives have to touch their husbands’ feet. Devi touches his feet. Ashok asks Kaurwaki to do the ritual and touch his feet. Kaurwaki is about to do that but Dharma stops her and tells Ashok that the rituals are done with will and happiness, if Kaurwaki is not happy to do a ritual then she shouldn’t be forced to do it. You have to win her heart first for her to touch your feet willingly. She tells Kaurwaki to not touch his feet if she doesn’t want to. She leaves from there. Ashok tells his servants to decorate his room as its his wedding night, he wants love from his wives. Devi says sure, come and get it. Ashok smiles.

Sushim is angry and tells Helena that Ashok spoiled everything, this servant is characterless as I spent so many nights with her, she can’t be my wife. He tells Helena that she could have stopped Ashok. Helena says enough, you spoiled everything. Dayana says she is right, you shouldn’t have kidnapped Anandi to help Bhadrak. Sushim says this is all happening because of Ashok. He grabs the servant and says I will kill her. The servant Roopa says you married me in front of everyone so if I die now then everyone will know your reality. Helena stops Sushim and says if anything happens to Roopa then you will be blamed, she is smarter than you. Ashok has trapped you but you have to come out of it yourself. Sushim says Ashok got both Devi and Kaling’s princess Kaurwaki. Helena says he didn’t win, he has got two wives and will be stuck between them. Both of his wives will make his life miserable. Sushim says they are friends so they won’t go against each other. Helena says no friendship is above the relationship of animosity between sautans so just wait and watch.

Devi gets settled in her small room. Her servant says this room is so small compared to your family house’s room. Devi says I don’t care anymore, I love Ashok so much that I don’t care about materialistic things. Kaurwaki comes there and asks if she can talk? Devi says sure, she says I know you are worried about tonight. Its weird that we got married to the same man in the same mandap. I am so happy and you are so sad. Kaurwaki says I didn’t want to marry Ashok and he didn’t want to marry me, he married me to take his revenge but we are married now, I just hope Ashok stays away from me now. Devi shows her a perfume and says it will bring Ashok to me every night and don’t worry, he will never come to you. Kaurwaki says I just wanted to hear that, she hugs her and leaves. Devi asks her servants to decorate her room for Ashok.
Kaurwaki goes to sleep in her room and is sad.

Devi is waiting for Ashok and says I will give him such a pleasant wedding night that he will come to me every night. She sees Ashok coming there and gets excited but Ashok passes by her room and goes to Kaurwaki’s room. She is shocked seeing that. She gets angry and says Ashok likes Kaurwaki more than her, she is his second choice. Devi is angry and says no no no..
