Post ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, Amit Tandon to be seen on ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’!

Love is an intriguing feeling. When cupid strikes, it brings in both.. the feeling of happiness as well as pain.

Holding on to this thought, Zing’s ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’ will soon witness a tale of love, featuring Amit Tandon as the protagonist character.

Amit will essay the role of a professor, who teaches in a medical college. A loner and a disciplined individual, who has strict norms in life and his profession. The professor will see his destiny change when the college’s most ‘it’ girl falls in love with him.

And here their journey of trust, love and faith will take a leap of boundaries when encountered with catastrophic situations in life.

Having projected, a strong character on one of the television’s much loved show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ on Star Plus, we asked Amit about his stint with an episodic show. He averred, “I am usually not open to doing episodic shows but I was looking forward to work with Vikas Gupta from a long time, since I shared a very good rapport with him right from the time we worked in ‘Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, where he was the creative director. I believe he is very creative and attempts to do different things on television.”

Elaborating on the kind of roles he likes doing and his upcoming projects, Amit shared, “For now, I am completely concentrating on my music. One single is scheduled to release and I am working on the second one too. But to answer your question, I have always loved projecting grey shaded characters, as they are not only challenging but there are various characteristics to the character, I can experiment with. A good man, who was forced to turn bad due to situations in his life, is something I would love to portray !”
