Pooja Verma to feature in Zee TV’s Fear Files

Zee TV’s Fear Files – Darr Ki Sacchi Tasveerein, produced by Esselvision Productions will witness the story of a Punjabi family caught in the web of paranormal activities, especially black magic. The story titled ‘Seledda’ will feature Pooja Verma in the central role.

Pooja, who was earlier seen in Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki, has quite a lot of commercial ads to her credit. She has played the lead role in a Punjabi movie Moga To Melbourne Via Chandigarh. She has also done a movie down South, titled Cleopatra.

The story in Fear Files will revolve around a Punjabi family who would be in the quest of getting their elder daughter (essayed by Pooja) married. The mother of Pooja, essayed by Shaili Kaushik, will refuse one offer for her daughter brought in by a neighbour. This will be when the neighbour lady will send as gift a ‘mala’ (garland) to the Punjabi family having spells of black magic. Soon, the ‘mala’ will possess Pooja’s character, and the family will witness few deaths all of a sudden.

Pooja Verma’s father’s role will be essayed by Major Bikramjeet. Zeena Bhatia will play the main negative lead in the story.
When contacted, Pooja confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I am presently shooting for Fear Files. It is an interesting story based on a Punjabi family.”
