Police Dial 100 to air on Life OK from 22 June

Crime shows are popular on TV, especially in the weekend slot. Life OK already has Hum Ne Li Hai – Shapath and Savdhan India – India Fights Back on air. And come 22 June, yet another crime show will be launched – Police Dial – 100 which goes with the tagline ‘Asli Police Asli Action’ (Endemol India).

This show like the American crime reality show Cops is a reality legal series that follows police officers during patrols and other police activities. Police Dial – 100 is shot LIVE, showcasing the daily workings, challenges and investigations of the police force in different cities of India.

This show covers the incidents as they occur instead of having re-enactments. The cases may vary from kidnappings, assault to theft, hit and runs and even murders. This series aims at sensitising the audiences on the roles and responsibilities of the police. It will take the audiences on a journey to the police world- control rooms, their techniques, lock-ups etc. The ultimate aim is to bridge the gap between the common man and the police department.

The show starts off with incidents from Delhi and will then go on to feature other cities as well. It will be aired on Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7pm and 11pm.
