Police Case lodged against Salman Khan and Bigg Boss
There looks to be no end to Salman’s legal woes. The Hyderabad police on Friday registered a case against Salman and the show he hosts, Bigg Boss, for insulting religious sentiments of Muslims. A case under section 295 of the IPC was lodged at Falaknuma police station in the old city of Hyderabad.
The complainant happens to be a person by the name of Mohammed Fasihuddin. He filed a complaint in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Hyderabad, which directed police to register a case.
It’s alleged in the petition that the show hurt the religious sentiments by depicting “Jannat” (heaven) and “Jahannum” (hell).
When we contacted Colors yesterday, the concerned authorities informed us that they are yet to receive the copy of the formal complaint.
The current season of Bigg Boss has by far been the most controversial and has also for the first time seen police intervene and arrest a contestant (Armaan Kohli) from inside the house on charges of assault.
