Payal Rohatgi turns Shikandi for ‘Suryaputra Karn’!

Payal Rohatgi, who showed off her dance moves on Star Plus’ dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 7’ is all set to tighten her seat belt for yet another TV show. However, this time it is not a reality show. Payal has bagged a pivotal role in a mythological show.

Our source informs us, “Payal Rohatgi, who was seen playing a significant role on Sony TV’s Humsafars has roped in for another Sony TV show. She will be portraying a powerful negative character of Shikandi on the popular mythical show ‘Suryaputra Karn’. The actress has already started shooting for the show from today.”

We contacted Payal, who told us, “For me, I am at a stage of my career where I need to do stuff that intrudes me as an actor. This character is something that I have not done earlier. My look for the show is very fresh and interesting. Also the character itself is pole apart from the ones that I have done before. So I thought to give it a try and am very excited about it.”
