Pavitra Rishta 24th July 2012 Written Update

At garage, Arjun is talking to his friend asking him to come to function since he would be coming nearby. Faruk Bhai asks him about the preparation and Arjun has a talk with him about it. He then hands Arjun his salary since he has completed one month working in the garage. Arjun is short of 200 rupees. Manav comes to garage and Arjun fixes his car. Manav finds out about Arjun participating in dahi handi competition. Arjun wants to withdraw his name as he can’t compete against his idol but Manav asks him not to face the challenge and he would make him loose. Manav before leaving gives Arjun 200 as tip.

At Deshmukh house, Archana informs Savita about pooja at her place and if anyone wants to join they can. Archana and Savita have a war of word over Soham. Savita then asks Ovi-Tej if they want to go to Archana’s place for pooja but they refuse go back in their room. Damodar comes there with his luggage. Savita is surprised and Archana happy to see him. Savita-Damodar have nok jhok.

Arjun calls Purvi tells her that he has completed his 10,000 rupees challenge given by Archana and how Manav helped him to complete this. Arjun tells he will be coming to meet Archana and Purvi says Archana is going to come to her place for pooja so he can meet her. Arjun happily agrees. Purvi informs Sulochna who is happy for them.

Arjun is walking on road when Churan passes him message about dahi handi practice and leaves. Arjun meets the person and asks if he can come a little late as he has some urgent work to which he agrees. Churan is about to be hit by a tempo when Arjun who sees this jumps to save him.

Vishnu is with his gang, the arrogant one asks him if the chloroform he got even works. Vishnu then applies it on one person from their gang much to others’s surprise.

At Karanjkar house, Archana comes to house. Sulochna informs him about Arjun fulfilling her challenge. Purvi leaves to get something. Sulochna asks Archana to decide whom will Arjun be with Purvi or Ovi she will have to take decision and it would be better if she takes it before Arjun coming and leaves. Archana is having flashbacks of what Arjun and Ovi told her how Arjun helped Sulochna. She looks at wall clock 20 minutes are remaining for twelve.

Detailed Update

Outside at a garage

Arjun is outside at his garage. He is talking to someone on the phone and is preparing for tomorrow. He hangs up.
Farukh: Whoa Arjun it looks like you are in a hurry to get ready.
Arjun: Yes this is my first dahi handi preparation and I was just talking to my friend over the phone. He works for Bollywood films he’s a great actor. Farukh Bhai there are very few people like this in the world.
Farukh: You are too good and did you know you have been in my garage for a month now? Today is the day for your salary wait one minute. Here you go Arjun there is your earning. 8,000 rupees. Arjun is very happy.
Arjun: Thank you Farukh Bhai. Arjun thinks to himself this is my very first earning now I can prove myself to Archana Aunty. Manav is coming out of his car and he sees Arjun. Arjun sees Manav they are standing right next to each other.
Manav: Oh sorry I did not know you worked here.
Arjun: Sir I can fix your car. I always looked up to you as my guru and this is my chance please don’t let me lose this opportunity uncle. Arjun begins fixing Manav’s car. Manav’s car gets fixed. Farukh comes over and asks Manav if there is any other problem with the car and Manav says no. A few men are coming in the garage.
Farukh: Arjun your dahi handi team members have come. I will tell them that you will come a little later.
Arjun: Thanks Farukh Bhai. Farukh goes. Manav is wondering that Arjun is participating in the dahi handi function and is trying to compete against him. Arjun says I’m sorry uncle I will withdraw.
Manav: No Arjun you will not withdraw the competition because of me. If you consider me your idol then compete with me in the dahi handi. I want to make you lose to show you what you did to my daughter Ovi. You hurt my daughter and I will take revenge for that tomorrow in the competition. You will then realize your mistake. Arjun I am glad you live in that chawl but mark my words I will win. Manav gives Arjun his money for fixing his car and leaves.

Deshmukh House

Savita and Archana are at the home.
Archana: Aai today my mother has held a celebration at her house for Krishna Bhagwan’s puja. Is anyone in the ome going to come?
Savita: To your misfortune no one will come with you and after what happened to Soham no one wants to see your face so forget us coming to the puja. And who gave you the right to swing Krishna Bhagwan’s swing after what you did to Soham?
Archana: One second aai why do you always keep holding me responsible for what happened to Soham? I will tell you one thing please do not instigate Ovi and Teju against me.
Savita: Why would I instigate them? They have grown up and can understand they can see and tell. Die to your carelessness we have lost Soham you can’t refuse that right?
Archana: You know very well who wanted to give Soham away and you know the intention as well. Aai I don’t want to stretch this matter I just asked a simple question. If you want to come to the puja then come it’s your choice.
Savita: I won’t come and you ask Ovi and Teju if they want to come. Teju Ovi! Teju and Ovi come out of the room.
Ovi: Yes aaji.
Savita: Today at this woman’s home there is a Krishna Bhagwan puja and she wants me and you both to come. Look I won’t go and if you two want to go then go.
Ovi: What? Aaji what made you think that we would go with her? Ovi leaves the room.
Teju: We will not go with her! Teju leaves. Savits smiles.
Savita: See? Are you at peace now? You did not understand me when I tried to tell you but now before you ask these kind of questions think twice. Damodar comes in the home.
Damodar: You will need to think twice and not double-cross me. Savita and Archana see him. Archana is smiling and she seeks Damodar’s blessings. Savita is shocked to see Damodar.
Damodar: I had given you a surprise. Damodar is saying this to Savita.
Savita: Did you lock all of the rooms at our home in Canada and shut off the fridge?
Damodar: I am not forgetful like you are. I shut off everything as I’m going to live here.
Savita: You are coming to living here? We are just staying here for 1 month then we’re going back.
Damodar: I know how much time I am going to stay here for. Damodar looks at Archana and he tells Archana not to worry anymore as he is there to take care of everything.
Archana: No baba I am very happy.
Damodar: You still don’t know how to lie properly. Today is Krishna Bhagwan and we will pray for all of your sadness and sorrows to go away. Ok now bring me one hot cup of tea it has been so many years since I drank your tea. Archana smiles and says she will bring it.

Outside

Arjun is outside. He calls Purvi. Purvi picks up her phone.
Purvi: Hello,.
Arjun: Purvi guess what? I have finally completed your mother’s challenge and Manav uncle helped me in this.
Purvi: What? Baba helped?
Arjun: Yes Manav uncle he came to the garage there was a problem with hi car and he gave me tip and that completed 10,000 rupees. I will give this to your mother and tell her that I am the only boy who deserves you.
Pruvi: Arjun your wish is about to be fulfilled in a little bit aai will come for Janmashtami puja and you can talk to aai then.
Arjun: Ok so tell your mother that I am coming. Arjun hangs up.

Karanjkar House

Purvi is very happy. She runs to Sulochana and hugs her.
Purvi: Aaji aaji!
Sulochana: What happened?
Purvi: Today Arjun has earned 10,000 rupees and he Is coming to see aai.
Sulochana: Is he coming?
Purvi: Yes.
Sulochana: Oh wow thanks to you Krishna Bhagwan you are uniting 2 people.
Purvi: Aaji we will need to give the good news t oaai.
Sulochana: No Purvi you will not say anything to her. Archu put the challenge in front of Arjun so she will need to face him. Today she will need to make the decision about Arjun.

Outside

Arjun is outside. Churan is calling him.
Churan: Arjun dada your team members are calling you for dahi handi practice.
Arjun: I have some work you go. Churan leaves and Arjun runs into one of his friends from dahi handi practice. Arjun tells him he has some very important work to attend to so I may come a little late to practice.
The friend: We just have tonight and we need to win this dahi handi practice.

Vishnu and his gang are outside. They are planning their next kidnap Manav Deshmukh.

Karanjkar House

Sulochana and Purvi are at their home. Archana is coming in.
Archana: Are there preparations for the puja still not done yet?
Sulochana: I am talking about Purvi.
Archana: I know aai Arjun’s month for his challenge is coming to an end. I remember like the 2 of you do..
Sulochana: Archu Arjun did what you told him to do. He accepted the condition and earned 10,00 rupees. And now he I coming to meet us he has proved he is a good man and is deserving of Purvi.
Purvi: Yes aai Arjun told me he will come before 12:00.
Archana: Aai let’s prepare the Krishna Bhagwan swing. Sulochana says to Archana Archu Arjun has proved you wrong now you will need to make a decision who Arjun should be. Ovi’s or Purvi’s? Before Arjun comes you need to make your decision. Archana remembers when Arjun told her he loved Purvi a lot and he promised her that he would take her Purvi with him. Archana remembers Ovi scolding her and saying it was because of you Arjun had to leave his home and live in your chawl so that him and Purvi can be close to each other. Archana also remembers Sulochana telling her at the hospital my life was saved due to Arjun.

Precap:At hospital, Arjun tries to calm down Churan’s mother. Doctor comes informs them about operation that needs to be performed on Churan asks to deposit money when asked Doctor says around 10,000-12,000 will be needed. Arjun asks to start the treatment money will be deposited.
