Pavitra Rishta 18th December 2012 Written Update

Archana is crying a lot .She tells Purvi that she always felt that Purvi was very close to her , that Purvi loved her and always wanted her Aie to be part of her life but she was wrong because Purvi did not do this . Purvi is also crying and apologising .
Archana says that Purvi walked away from her because of Arjun and Ovi and that was big of her but why did she have to hide her big secret like this and that Purvi does not thinks of Archana worthy to be her mother anymore .Maybe Purvi wants to end the relationship that Archana started long time ago ..
Purvi cannot hear this anymore and she tells Archana that she missed her the most in the past few days .She says that now , from a daughter , she has become a mother .When her baby kicks her then she thinks of Archana and wanted to talk to her but she just couldn’t .She knew that Archana will be hurt to find out about her pregnancy but at the same time she had faith that no matter what , Archana will come running to her and not think of anything else .
Archana tells her that no one has ever hurt her as bad as Purvi has …because Purvi always knew that she is Archana’s weakness and her happiness , her marriage and her babies meant so much to her .
Purvi is apologising a lot but Archana keeps crying .
Purvi then says to Archana that she is happy today because the real reason why she left her family and Mumbai was to make sure that Arjun and Ovi are happy in their lives and they have moved on and that has happened now …

Archana immediately hugs her when Purvi starts crying as she talks about Arjun and Ovi …

Onir calls Purvi , she telsl him that she was feelign a little suffocated in the hall so she came home .

Purvi tells Onir to invite his patient ( Arjun ) and his wife over for dinner …
Purvi thyen puts the phone down ..Archana wants to know the name of Purvi’s husband , what kind of person he is , what does he do and she wants to knwo about his family …
Purvi tells her to come home with her and she can meet him ..
Archana says that she has to go back to hotel right now as Ovi is unwell but will call Purvi tomorrow and will go to her hosue to meet her husband .She asks Purvi one more time if she is happy .
Purvi says that her husband is a very nice man and she is happy in her life .

Ovi tells Arjun that now she is feeling uneasy and wants to go back to the hotel ..
Onir apologises to Arjun that today also his wife could not meet them and invites them over for dinner .Ovi tells Arjun that she is going and will wait for him in the car …on her way , she gives Onir an angry look .
When Ovi leaves , Onir asks Arjun if there are problems between him and Ovi because he has felt that Ovi is very childish and is always trying to get attention from Arjun even if it is by misbehaving …He tells Arjun that if he had given proper attention to Ovi then things would not have been so bad for them right now .
He says that all women want is attention and if he keeps giving that to her then even little issues and differences will not effect their relationship .
He says that he should now become a psychologist also for the way he is advising Arjun but the most important thing Arjun should do is to give Ovi lots of affection …

Savita is standing outside the Khandesi snacks shop .There is a huge line there as it is Dashera .Savita is just dying to eat the Phaphda and Jalebi ..so she send Sundri to buy some for her .Savita and Sundri are both worried that Snehlata may not want to sell her special snacks to them because of the animosity between them …
Sundi goes to the shop and places an order . The Khandesi sisters refuse to give anything for the Anarkali ( Savita ) but Sundri says that the order is for her .
Snehlata then agrees and tells her that next time she can place an order for home delivery and her son will deliver it to her …
Snehlata points out to Sunny who is about to go on his bike …
Sundri is shocked to see that Sunny is Snehlata’s son .

Ovi is in her room taking the sindoor off her face .Arjun comes and he starts wiping her face gently …Ovi is about to go for shower but Arjun tells that she should let the water get hot first or else she will catch a cold .Ovi says that now also Arjun is only thinking about his baby . Arjun orders ginger tea for Ovi .
Ovi is taking her bangles off, Arjun remembers how he was taking Purvi’s bangles off once and then he goes and does the same for Ovi .
Ovi looks happier now .
He asks Ovi if she is also coming to Onir’s house for dinner .Ovi says tha tshe wants to rest as it is good for thir baby .

Savita calls Manav ,Sachu and Teju to come in the lounge .They all take ashirwaad from Damodar because it is Dashera and Damodar gives them money …even Savita takes Damodar’s ashirwaad , to his delight . Savita tells him to quietly accept her giving him respect or else she will take it back Then Savita gives gifts to all of them …
Manav tells Savita that Archana called him and Ovi is feeling much better now . She also told Mana vthat Doctor Onir is a very good man and he has put Ovi on medication and Arjun and Ovi are about to go for Durga Puja .
Damodar says that it is great that Ovi went to Kolkota .
Savita gives mithai for Sulochna’s home and tells Manav to take it for his saas as he is her son as well.
Teju gets a call from Sunny and she makes up an excuse that she has to go out to do some Chawl committee work ..Manav ( to Teju’s dismay ) says that he will drop her where she wants to go … Teju makes another excuse that he has to go later and not now …
Manav annot wait for her any longer and goes to work

Arjun calls Archana and tells her that as Ovi is not going to Onir’s house , he wants Archana to look after her. Archana stil llooking as if she had been crying , says that she has something important to tell Arjun .Arjun wants to know if it is anything urgent so Archana says that you come back from dinner and then I will tell you …

Precap : Arjun is in Onir’s home .Onir is standing with is wife next to him and his arm around her .Arjun is shocked because for the first time he saw Purvi after 6 months as Onir Dutt’s wife .Purvi too is looking emotional and shocked .
